I was just wondering if anyone could tell me things such as what program they used for mapping, and some other helpfull stuff.

this is the map editor GtkRadiant (its version 1.3.12 might be a newer one out not sure but it works fine :D )

and this is a tutorial that will teach you all you need to know to map :D (btw its for jk2 but everything should work in GtkRadiant)

Well, I was wondering if it was possible to do it with photoshop actually....but thanks anyways...i have nowhere near the time to download that...

Or just regular everyday textures when you find out that Raven didn't supply the one texture / shader you had in mind...
