I was playing Monkey Island 2, and was gradually getting more and more annoyed at the lack of sound. So I downloaded ScummVM and Quick+Easy, and attempted to load my old game (I'd got a good way through) to no avail.

Is there any way to load up my old save game through ScummVM?

Thanks.

ScummVM does not support, and has never supported, savegames from the original interpreters of the games.

It also doesn't support savegames from older builds or versions of ScummVM itself.

You'll have to start over, I'm afraid.

The Jake made a pile of ScummVM savegames for MI2 available on The SCUMM Bar (http://www.scummbar.com) a while ago, so have a look through the files or the news archive and you'll find them. At least then you can find a game that's near where you're up to, maybe.

Would the Mac version of ScummVM be able to use old savegames?
