When I try to make a VIS-compile i get this error:
********ERROR********
MAX_MAP_VISIBILITY exceeded
What does it mean and what to do?
You'll need to read this:
http://www.nibsworld.com/rtcw/tutorial_detail_and_hint_brushes_part1.shtml)
And also if it's a big map, select a regular brush, press N to get the worldspawn up and type a key of _blocksize with a value of 2048 2048 2048. For super large maps 4096 is better.
Depending on what's in the map, it's better to adjust blocksize values for each axis individually. Like if you have nothing but terrain, a larger Z axis value is better.
Allright, I think I got it. Thanks a lot!
I don't like to revive old topics. But I am gettting the same errror in an MP map. How can I fix this.
By reading the link I posted before...
Thanks, but gothix already helped me out.
Please, Wade, drop a pitchfork into your behind, or something like it.
