How the heck do you download stuff to your game!? When I try, it always says files are read only!

ummm, well d/l it, extract it (winzip or right click on it), and put the .pk3 in gamedata/base

What files did you try? Maybe the file you got was corrupted and needs to be downloaded again (or from another source).

I tried downloading darth vader skin, new saber colours and new lightsaber hilts. Nothing works. And I was sure they aren't corrupt.

where are you getting the error? like during extraction, or in-game, or.....

I got the error when I try to place it in the folder and try to extract it to there.

make sure you are extracting to he location on your hard drive, and not to the CD drive.

Just download the file, and download it to lets say the desktop. Once download is done, go to your desktop and double click the .zip file. Inside should be a pk3. Extract it to base folder.

Read the readme (a txt file) for more info.
