quick noob question:

In JK2, and as RichDiesel tuts have mentioned, to make a pitch black light entity give a light value of -300

Doesn't really work that way in JA, so it seems.

What value do you put in?

Thanks

negative lights are mentioned here (http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2938&highlight=negative+light) it seems a bigger value gives a higher "darkness" and the amount of positive light makes no difference to it.

i havent tried playing with negative lights myself but try adding a scale key to widen the radius of negative light
