Every time i try to make a NPC which is on your team he seems to follow me when i just want him to stand still, can anyone help me out(PS: sorry for all these questions)

They are supposed to follow you, youll have to script them to make them do other stuff....

do you want them to still fight? If all you want is for them to stand there, then just load up your map, click the npc, hit "n" and click the cutscene box, it makes them "stupid" even if someone shoots them, they wont fight back... just stand there.

how do you spawn an ALLY npc anyway?

In game, just turn cheats on (devmapall) and then type NPC SPAWN then whoever you want to spawn.

EX:

load console (shift+~)
devmapall
NPC SPAWN luke

then luke will come up

in radiant, just right click somewhere in the 2D display, and find the NPC option, then choose the NPC you want, compile the map, and the npc should be there.

I know how to spawn npc's, I asked how to spawn an ALLY (as in one that will attack other ppl besides you) npc. How do you do that?

Spawn a friendly NPC. Like Luke, Lando, Jan, a rebel, etc..

If you do not want the NPC to follow you, though, you will in fact need to utilize a script. I believe you would need to make it so that you are invisible to the npc.
