I'd really like to use the Strong style, as in my mind it should be like the Luke/Vader battle from ROTJ which is still my favorite saber battle from the films. Unfortunately the animation makes him look like he is playing baseball or something, so i think im gonna go for dual sabers....
I guess I liked Fast (blue) the best. Mainly because you felt like a madman spinning around and slicing and dicing.
In Multiplayer it seemed an effective counter to people who were addicted to Strong (red) stance.
In JA I look forward to trying Dual Lightsabers, mainly because I was so jealous of Boc in JK1... ; )
i think that i would hav 2 hav dual sabers because i want to spin around loads

Well maybe I will use sabers if they are going to be more powerful than they were in JK2. Im not really much into sabers after the horrible accident of "1.03" ;) But when Im out of guns/ammo Im going to use my "basic" saber as you might call it.. nothing too fancy, but still deadly.

I'm going to go with duel sabers. It just looks cool to me. Plus i like how you can throw both sabers at the same time :D
My favorite is the traditional single lightsaber, medium stance. :)
i like the normal saber, fast stance, reminds me of the battles in the prequels
i will play through a couple of times. Then choose which on I like best for MP.
BTW, Kurgen.....I LOVE HIGHLANDER!! IT IS "ONE" (there can be only one) OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES! Good taste! BTW, I think that Sean Connery was perfect for that role (Ramirez).

i think staff looks the best so far.
I'd probably want to try out one of the new styles, since they're a big selling point of the game. I'd probably try out the staff first, then the dual. Most of the time though I'll use either a single (with varying stances) or a gun. Don't want to come off as a "fanboi".
Hm..each style looks to have its selling points. I guess I'll reserve judgement until I have the game ^_~
I agree with Redwing, you'll have to have first hand experience with all styles first, the only ones that will have a different feel from JK2 will be the single saber styles. :)
Single Blade Blue. Dual blades and a staff are always fun, but I've always been a one hilt, one blade man.
Can you use hand powers(push, pull, grip, lightning) with a saberstaff? If no then a single saber for me:D

Sure, staff looks fancy and single may be more versatile (YES; versatility is a very good thing) but I've always fought dual weapons since... Well, BG2 if I had the possibility. Simply think it looks cooler.
Even tho most ppl are complaining about the staff is too strong i still think its really good and since i switched from dual to staff im happy with the results. You need to be crazy good to kill fast with the dual sabers, but staff is awsome. Can you switch saber styles in multiplayer?

I'll also switch to using single saber on occasion. I'm not as interested in the Saberstaff - it's never really appealed to me.

Staff - single can't hold up to dual sabers offence, dual can't kick, and I never use throw anyway. Jump kick to stab is a killer move, availiable only in staff... the reasons go on...
Single saber-yellow stance. Yesturday I spent a few hours on the JK2 duel servers showing people the power of yellow. I never came in first place but I could match up with the best player on the server who used red. It really is easy to just sidestep a red attack or dfa and just hack away for 2-3 seconds. If yellow damage was upped 5 or 10 points I might even consider it to be fair .
Still I will continue using yellow in JA although I may dabble in dual sabers once in a while because...they are cool looking.

I'm having a hard time choosing between single fast and dual sabers, the saberstaff is cool and all but you need to spin alot to be effective, and most of the special moves are spins, so you're open to attack alot. I like the duals because they are very effective but they don't have very good defense. The single fast is nice, because its got great defense, if you go one on one with a weak enemy you can finish them quick with a pull then jab, but its kinda crappy against 3 or more other saber weilding enemies. Single strong is too slow, although the sideways air cartwheel attack is very deadly. Single medium, if I wanted to use medium I would use a saber staff, so I could either use staff or single medium without moves, the medium moves suck anyway, its got a sky attack that is too high above enemies, a backward slash that rarely ever hits, and a force pull slice that dosen't even kill. I have to play with single for a while before I get to choose duals anyway so I'll see...
I'll nicely stick to the single saber all the way through ^.^
My favorite is still the single lightsaber. :) Has anyone's favorite lightsaber changed, or do you still like the same type best?
