I have the sein dvds too. I love that show...I also have a ton of sports cards.

It's intrigued me, but I get the Star Wars minis by WotC instead.

Oh, do you get Warhammer or Warhammer 40K. I didn't know there was a plain old Warhammer. I guess that's fantasy and 40K is sci fi? And you have to paint all the guys yourself too, right? That sounds cool but my guys would come out like poo :p

I do Warhammer fantasy. You build sets of guys for your army and built them and paint them, and then you can battle your friends armies. Here (http://us.games-workshop.com/) is a link to the Games Workshop (the company that makes Warhammer, 40K, and some other similar games) home page. If you have the time to paint the guys (and the money to buy them, its getting pretty expensive) I would highly recommend it if it interests you. It is a ton of fun. When I first started, my guys looked like poo too but i've been playing for 6 years now so my guys are turning out real well.

If I'm thinking of the right thing, my brother does a similar thing to those (Heroclix). I know they make a SW version, but maybe thats not what you're talking about.

Hey, know how we were talking about those mini LotR guys? The 'Armies of Middle Earth' line? Well, I was checking prices and am I pissed at myself. I had in my hands a pack of two ringwraiths and a 'twilight' Frodo (he was clear as if he's wearing the ring). Well, I didn't get it. I see it sells for $80! :(

The main characters are pretty cheap. I may yet eventually get the Fellowship among others. There are packs of Urak Hai or whatever they're called at a ghetto Trus reduced at 4 a pack. Maybe I can get them as well?

What Family Guy figures do you all have? I know you talked about Adam West. I want him but need others first. I have all but the PJ Stewie from series one. I need Meg to complete the family. Definately want Quagmire and Joe. Probably will get Clevland when they make him just to complete the neighbors. I see alot of others, but just don't have the space (or money I'm willing to spend) for them.

Its all got to do with money for me, so i buy my favorite characters. I have Brian, Peter, Quagmire, and mayor west. I want Stewie, but i never saw the regular stewie, and i buy all my family guy figures at Spencer Gifts in the mall. I have the family pack of bend-ems as well. I want Joe, maybe the pope, but i dunno. and cleveland.

I got Stewie for Xmas. My sis had to get him from eBay. He was so popular he sold out faster than the rest. I remember getting Brian and Peter from a toy show for $25. Chris and Lois cost me $20 each from eBay. They're shortshipped either one per case.

Really? Ahh well. They cost like $10-$15 in stores, right? Five bucks more for each isn't bad.

Oh, have you seen Pirates of the Caribbean figures? I saw them at my local action figure hobby shop. They were originally $13 over here. Johnny Depp (the only one I wanted to buy) was raised to $20 so I guess I won't get him afterall.

Oh, I briefly mentioned it in another post, but I got my Sideshow Gen Ursus today from Beneath the PotA. Awesome figure! Hasbro's sucked the big one. Worst Ape thing I own! I tried to sell Hasbro's on eBay for $10 but no one would buy it it's that bad....

Caesar is next up. The Mutants are coming later in the year.

Sideshow is making a 12" Scarface! I never saw the movie, but I wanted to get my sister's boyfriend one. He's the closest thing I have to a brother and I love the guy so I'm willing to dish out the $45 for his Xmas gift. He's not only super detailed, he's gonna have a sound chip :D I'm gonna pick him up a Quag as well. He does the best impression of Quag and pretty much everything comedic.

I noticed you through in "sucks the big one" a classic quote from cable guy..."red knight sucks the big one! red knight going down, down down down."

"God help me now, I haven't seen those!" :p

Nah, mobster classics I know and love are Godfather and Untouchables. I've seen the original 1932 Scarface if that helps. Great movie that was. I'm gonna get those three before I quite Hollywood though.

Oh, and as for 'sucks the big one,' I don't know where I got it. I saw Cable Guy in theaters and haven't since up until a week ago. I got it for my sister's boyfriend at Wal-Mart for $6 (he got me Dumb and Dumber b/c my sis lost our VHS years ago). Great movie and great scene. Loved the ST bit when they were fighting in the arena :p *que TOS fight music*

My sis is one away from having every Beatle album, even the reprinted crap of the 70s-now which is all the same over and over. The one she needs is one from the 80s I think. I'm gonna get her a Monkees cd as a joke instead.

"You know, the Monkees really influenced the Beatles"

I don't mind the Monkees. They're more of a joke than anything else. Their later stuff isn't so dumb; the early stuff was for their show.

I dotn hate the monkeys, but yah their stuff was meant to be a joke mostly, it wasnt serious. Btw ear bleeding happens from a high intense frequency, the vibrations from the sound waves makes your ears bleed, i doubt the monkeys have the power, or the correct pitch for the right ammount of time to make them bleed.

As seen here (http://www.gateworld.net/galactica/news/2005/10/firstigalacticai2004toysco.shtml) , Hasbro is coming out with Battlestar Galactica 'action figures.' Err, there ships. I heard rumors they'd be doing figures and got mixed feelings. Detail is not their thing but hey, toys are toys in my eyes. But not when they're ships of both the '70s show and the new one. I wanted the Sci Fi series to have figures as detailed as that of Sideshow, McFarlane, or Art Asylum or something.... Perhaps a few more seasons wait they'll do it? It ain't a kids show so I can see how the toys wouldn't be great for marketing purposes.

my 2 cents worth:

In addition to SW games and films I collect Hallmark christmas ornaments. I found the Falcon last year and looks awesome (but out of scale) hanging next to my star trek ornaments.I recently saw an x-wing but I think it's out of production.

And Ral Partha battletech pieces.

I chiefly collect items that represent ways of life or people who symbolize them. I have a 12 inch figure of Vader, as he symbolizes the devotion to his own kind of order. I wish he would have tried to overthrow the Emperor himself, because as he demonstrated with the bounty hunters, he is capable of greater leaps of logic than his master.

Other than that I enjoy collecting masks, or rather apparel worn by those who strive for their own goals, such as Jason Voorhees mask. His machette is not one of my possessions, for it is not the real one. If it were possible to aquire an authentic, metallic recreation of one, I would almost certainly own it.

Seeing my posts in this forum from when I was 13 years old is so embarrassing.

I haven't collected Star Wars since the first wave or two of ROTS figures. I'm a vast music collector now, both vinyls and CDs. I also got into collecting older videos games, I have a pretty decent NES/SNES/N64 collection and most of the major consoles since the NES (missing the Master System, 360, and Atari systems). I would love to catch up on my Star Wars collection whenever I get a good paying job, there are so many cool action figures I would have killed to have had when I was a kid!

Daring Dueler is doing well too, if anyone is wondering.
