During the whole "why ain't the intaller working" period, I did wipe the override and start over. I even went into the module folder and removed any traces of any mods. See, there were a couple of other mods that either weren't working corr...  [Read More]

Hmm.. have you installed any other mod that overwrites the k_oei_* scripts that the Kreia Mod uses? It's really important these don't get overwritten... rather re-compiled, along with other mods... It looks like the script is referencing the Miner Un...  [Read More]

I finally got a chance to get back to the game and made it to Korriban. The plinth at the front of the acadamy where you pick up the tattered shroud shows up with the title "Test placeable" or some such. It works and everything, but I'm thi...  [Read More]

Also, has anyone had problems with their game crashing after the battle with Batu Rem (the load screen afterwards)? I receieved a PM about this, but I want to make sure and see if it's an isolated event... Nope, no problem with Batu (either the real...  [Read More]

@girlfriday; I wholeheartedly agree with everything except the Ebon Hawk. I'm all for flashing it up (see the other thread regarding the EH) but keep it nonetheless. In particular, the "after game" play hadn't really occured to me before,...  [Read More]

@Zat: Bad news. They like the influence system so much they're using it in NWN2. It's noted on the NWN2 website as a feature :nut: I'm all for big big planets. I don't really care if they're empty. Big and empty just means more room for modders to...  [Read More]

In the cut content, most of your party members in TSL died, except (if you're male) Visas or Handmaiden (depending on who you had most influence with) and Gotos remote. Visas or Handmaiden stays at Malachor V to train the "others" who will...  [Read More]

First of all, concerning the ongoing question of how the PC aquires the Ebon Hawk, and how will the PC of K3 aquire the Ebon Hawk, please look here (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2066210#post2066210) for the long version of my take on t...  [Read More]

Ah, I missed the jedi acadamy bit. Mea culpa. I'm guessing, though, that Coruscant would thrive with or without the jedi. Wouldn't mind rifling through the archives of that "abandoned" acadamy, though....  [Read More]

A thriving city doesn't have to have a single Jedi in it. How many Jedi you think are in L.A. right now? And don't count people who THINK they're jedi.. :nut:...  [Read More]

. I will stress again, it doesn't have to be mushy. "Oh I love you sweetie pie! Lets go and cuddle and make cutesy faces at each other." Oh, I dunno, I can picture a quest beginning with an NPC interrupting our hero along the lines of: &q...  [Read More]

The Star Wars universe seems to have grown beyond its creator's original vision, as have the Jedi and Sith. They've taken on a life of their own. Note the continuing aliveness of Bobba Fett. Whether or not the Jedi/Sith as we know them today exist as...  [Read More]

The force is like water in that it flows where it is able. Like water, it can be bane or boon, and like water, it has no concious will of its own. Perhaps the great mystery of the force lies in the fact that something without conscious will defies th...  [Read More]

Okay, I read most of the first two pages and took the thread up again after the jump, so I might have missed somebody making my point. On the other hand, it's still my point, and that's the point of the thread, right? So here's my take on the jedi: :...  [Read More]

There was an actor named Roddy McDowell who sort of personified the "gentleman's gentleman" in the color era of the movies. 3P0's mannerisms and voice closely approximate (with droidy bits added) Mr McDowell's. The diff is that Roddy McDow...  [Read More]

i think in KotOR III the should let you use R2D2 and C3P0. now would that be cool. who is with me C3P0 was built by Anakin Skywalker some 4000 years after the events in Kotor. I'm guessing we won't be jumping that far ahead....  [Read More]

With very few exceptions, no character in the game is completely indespensible. Yes, any character with the proper computer skill and spikes/tunnellers could have done uthar's room, but does that make T3 useless? Hardly. T3 is easier to get to the po...  [Read More]

In the Sith acadamy on Korriban in K1, I used T3 to exploit the level up glitch. He was the only one in the party whose computer skill was l33t enough to do it without loads of spikes. I only wish the exploit was as quick in K2 as it was with T3 in K...  [Read More]

@X133, Those are good ideas, but they're also ideas that could work well with the Ebon Hawk. If the new episode takes place more than a couple of years after KOTOR2, there is no reason to believe the Hawk might not have had a few refits. Make one of...  [Read More]
