Hi, my name is Cygnus, and I'm a KotOR-a-holic. To all of you new here, WELCOME and enjoy. "You will never find a more retched hive of ..." No, wait, sorry, wrong thread. I absolutely love this site. C'mon, where else can you discuss kot...  [Read More]

As I had feared... If McLeodCorp's deduction is correct, and I must admit that I think it is, then what would be the incentive to make a KotOR III? I realize that some developers would love the chance to get to work on the next game in the series,...  [Read More]

The same could have been said for the X-Wing series and the JK series, and yet there aren't going to be any more of those... Dang-it!! You had to bring that up, didn't you. I *miss* my X-wing. ...thanks Prime(sob), for bringing (sob), that up ag...  [Read More]

I knew what you meant, mine was a feeble attempt at humor. Yes indeed, interaction with surroundings (other than blades of grass moving as I walk by) would be refreshing and would add another level of realism. That would be a nice touch if you've aq...  [Read More]

Every one of Phaedra36's wishes I hope comes true. OK, I don't know about the sitting, but... :) Customization upgrades are necessary. Some of the gear is really unpleasant to look at. I don't really care about the turret games as much as I'd like...  [Read More]

Welcome KillerDOTcom. I think you'll find it easier to edit your posts rather than to create a whole new one. It's a real handy function. Although the death matches and other side games are fine and will probably remain, I doubt you see mulitplayer....  [Read More]

Following Revan's path, huh? Didn't we follow Revan's path physically in KotOR and figuratively in TSL? Maybe we can finally find Revan in this one. If we do catch up with Revan, wouldn't he/she have to wear a mask? How would that work?...  [Read More]

What would be the *best* reasons for going back there? Maybe I'm missing something. What are we to find? Wasn't the starmap the only reason Revan went there....  [Read More]

I loved the "face your past" quest on Korriban the second time. I think there are plenty of stories left on that world... I'm sure there are plenty of stories. Every planet has a billion stories. But, is there enough to make it fun the *t...  [Read More]

I can understand *why* some want to re-visit this planet. It's our connection to the sith legacy in this particular game. Quite a few stories begin here. Some end here as well. My problem with this world is that we've already been here. TWICE !!!...  [Read More]

1). Another weak ending. I was slightly dissappointed at the anti-climactic ending to TSL. Talk about a wound in the force, that was a wound to the series. 2). The same old planets. The refreshing thing about this whole series is the exploration and...  [Read More]

Maybe it's because I don't like manipulation which is what she did essentially. I just don't like it and I can't see the justification of it except to meet one's own ends. Then again someone could say that persuasion is a form of manipulation. I do s...  [Read More]

To be honest, the one I consider really evil though she bugged me was Kreia. Her dialogue was awesome for the tone of a Sith for they operate often through manipulation, at least the successful ones like Palpatine. HK was funny because he was a droid...  [Read More]

You are absolutely right. If it's going to come out at all, I'd rather it be done well and a little late then rushed to us and have us dissappointed. (again) Guess I'll go play Jade Empire again to take my mind off of it. (you can only slap Malak,...  [Read More]

Hmmmmm. That could be a workable idea. But, would this force opposite and the "search for" or "evade from" be the main story nemesis for your main character? I'm not too sure. It could be a workable sub-plot or a serious side q...  [Read More]
Actually, they can all stay gone. Hopefully the storyline won't be so rigid that our alignment deviations won't have any affect on our mission priorities. LS and DS play should have different paths to the end. If that's the case, then new masters,...  [Read More]
Well, I don't know about that. TSL didn't need that much of a different philosophy, and we still had most of the same enemies, just different in form. That's why TSL, at least storywise, wasn't as good of a game or as popular as KotOR. The freshness...  [Read More]
I was under the impression that the species of true sith died a millenium ago and the sith now are followers of an idea. Aren't the sith now decendants and followers of fallen jedi that hated and hunted jedi hundreds of years ago? Is there anywhere...  [Read More]

Ahhh, direct feedback from romantic miscues, interesting. That could have a great impact on influence, I'll bet. That could also open an avenue for side quests. :) Too cool. Welcome Chira....  [Read More]

I catch it and see your point. Romance should not be mushy but add a bit of flavor because it was a part of the original films. A completed storyline takes the shotgun seat though. I believe you are right. I also believe that these romantic avenues...  [Read More]
KotOR: Loved: Taris. C'mon, It's where it all began. Hooked me. Sucked: Maanan. Selkath speak hurts my ears. Though it was a contrast to a sand dune planet. TSL: Loved: Duxn/Onderon. Could've been bigger though. More exploration. Sucked: Korriban(...  [Read More]

It would be nice to know what they mean by realtime... It will more than likely be similar in playability to Jade Empire. That is one interesting RPG with great graphical content, cut scenes and realtime fighting. I hate to say it, but I really did...  [Read More]
