The weapon models look great, nice work Salv! The only thing I didn't like is that the Assault Cannon really does look too short.
I was really impressed with the Stormtrooper Model, that was fantastic, I thought Raven's one was good but that one is just fantastic, it can't get anymore realistic than that, Question will you make a mod so that those new Stormtroopers replace Raven's ones.

They'll all come along eventually, I can understand your position..the skins are like the icing on the cake...and the models look cooler inside the game but we gotta keep some things under wraps..
Hey Salv, it seems to me some of the weapon pics are comparison pics too. Did you compare them to your old work or are the "low quality" examples of the E-11, Thermal Detonator, Bryar pistol Ravens work ;) ?

Yes, the "low quality" as you refer them are Raven's work really, with just abit of a change...like the E-11 has 2 sights intead of one in the front...and the Bryar is a tad different..same with the thermals. No point going back and reinvent the wheel..just a few changes and they are back to their DF look..
Were the lower detailed ones the thing you see from thirdperson or with NPCs?
The only problem I had with the Assault Cannon was that it just seemed too stocky, too short (also when compared to other weapons). I thought it could be stretched more, so it'd really look like a massive cannon, like the DF one.
I think the issue with the Assault Cannon is that it's too short.

you see that it looks like it isn't nearly as short as yours. I don't know if you'd want to make it 'longer' by maintaining the length and simply making the gun smaller, or by streching it out.
OK. I see it now. The legs are a tad different, the face is cool, and the skin, like I said, is new.
That one is not a cool improvement like the stormie I guess... :p Can't wait to see them in action.

Believe it or not, I put more work into this guy than I did the Stormtrooper.
The angle makes all the diffrence, that looks so much cooler. Very good job.
The Stormtrooper and Officer are class. They really look much more like the ones in the movies this way.

Will there be Field Troopers in the MOD? I know they weren't in the original DF but they were in DF2 and JO.

...perhaps referring to Scout Troopers?
No, the ones with the Orange Shoulder pads, they were reffered as Squad Leaders in JO. The usually carried a Flecete, Rocket Launcher or Repeater.

There really isn't a major difference between them, just a few accessories. I have been working on one though. As to wether it will be used in the mod or not is unknown to me at this time.

Your's legs have to be shorter, but I doubt that is possible is it?
The legs shouldn't be shorter, they Gamorrean's legs are the same length as an average humans, and my model is based off of the human model included with the game.
While I'll admit that some of the body proportions are off,... I don't think the length of the legs is one of them.
