Between mouse sabering and the standard base JK2 style, how will it be balanced? The standard fighting style seems to be more mobile to me

well, I think it will be a personal choice but I beleive most people will take Mouse Sabering because you'll have a lot more control

Mobile = more movable...

Does this mean people with mouse sabering won't be able to maneuver more easily than those who select fighting with the standard style? Because they can just jump here and there and swing like crazy, it's hard for mouse saberers to dodge

Can you explain this a bit more in detail? Oh and will there be any chance you guys will cancel MotF? Just curious, no offense

Uh, not really, there's is small amount of visual control you'll lose while you Mouse Saber but other than that it should actually have a much higher amout of control than the normal system.

As for chances of the project getting cancelled, sure, there's always a chance, but there's no reason for that at the moment.

This mod sounds like its going to be awesome, to add to it you should see if you can talk the creator of ForceMod 2 to lend u the source code for the dual guns and breakable hilts, that'd be a neat addition too, just my 2 cents.

I agree however, breakable hilts aren't fessable gameplaywise unless you have a way to get a new saber and that would mean dual saber/double stuff which isn't really doable at this point / not worth the effort with JA coming out this fall.

I agree with AOTJ_Craig, I would like to see dual pistals in MotF. With your proposed more physically realistic jetpack, this could lead to more movie-like Jedi vs. merc battles.

Why don't you get the blocking code from Renegadeofphunk?

I mean no offence to the other modders, but we plan on doing everything from scratch to do it our way, and hopefully improve on a lot of things.

Besides, people always seem to overvalue their own work when trading and MotF is so heavily modified as is that converting in code would take as long as doing it from scratch anyway.
