Bombers. I love attacks from the air. And have ground-commando's take out their anti-air turrets... LOL !
Mainly air, and anything from the troops center. Mechs are ok, but most good players have a load of grenadiers. So I prefer, air, troop center guys, and jedi.
i like the regular hvy trooper cause the blaster he has is awsome
I personally like death from above combined with a bit of Pummeling...:)
Mechs. All the way. I also really like Heavy Destroyer Droids, and Heavy Faamba Shield Generators. :atat:
Aircraft are cool as well, but often are shot out too fast for much use. They are better for attacking mobile armies, as opposed to dug-in bases.:naboo:

Three words... Heavy Destroyer Droids. Yes I know i am being a bit redundant. In another thread I aspoused the glory of these little monsters. I feel it is worth saying again. The other unit though i am horribly loath to admit it is the Fambaa Shield generator of the <shudder> Gungans. Shields on the move ladies and gentlemen. That is where the difficulty will lie. Four of those Fambaa and your entire army is welllllll protected. An AT-AT is awesome....now imagine one partnered with a mobile shield generator. Just what I think.

I changed my mined a bit. I really like Destroyer Droids cause they are fast and have shields. and I like the Naboo adv. fighter, and the R2 units are the coolest workers in the game.

There is no satisfaction greater than seeing your Imperial Walkers, the AT-ATs destroying everything in sight.
The destroyer droid. The jedi/sith, of course.
However, the unit with most character to them just has to be the imperial strike mech . After seeing them I am spoiled and don't want to use any of the really uninspiring placeholders like the Naboo strike/mech destroyer/assault.
The graphics in this game are either brilliant or very bad. The Gungans and Imperial mechs are good looking.
I love the game, I am just being picky with graphics. I mean, if they made the mechs all "beast modelled", like empire, the game would have looked much better than it does now with all those trams and trucks for assault. I mean, the heavy assault mech of :bdroid2: looks very much like the heavy pummel of :bdroid2:
the empires mechs are all good looking...
the trade feds troops are cool
whilst the naboo air units, and the gungun ships are the respective winners for me

I think the Destroyer Droids is a trooper. Just a machine but a good trooper. I do like the AA troops becasue the kill off the air support.

Troops and Jedi. Troops pretty much crank out faster then nothing, while Jedi are just very neato. It's fun to sweep in with Jedi and troopers and steal workers to build a base inside the enemy's. Whoot!
Bad thing is Bountys rape Jedi like nothing, however with a Jedi rush, you shouldn't allow him time to recover. ( Jedi have incredible staying power....)

It's a mech. The definition of a trooper is a person. No, wait, it's not a mech.. I'd say an attack droid. That should suffice. Okay, maybe "Light Mech" or "Anti-Infantry mech" :). I don't know.
:deathii: I'm saying that the destroyer droids are the coolest by far. They roll, they have shields, they are fast...there is just very few things cooler than these.
However, I am partial to the airspeeder, as those babies are fast enough to hit and run almost any side part of an army :)
I like a Empire + Trade Fed alliance. Then my favorite units are the air transport, the AT-AT, the destroyer droid and Sith/Jedi . Then you can have the transport drop 5 AT-ATs in or close to the enemy base from behind, move the AT-ATs into enemy base and unload 15 DDs and 15 Sith/Jedi!!!! Now that rocks!

Yes, a large group of bombers, especially if escorted properly with a nice mix of fighters and snow speeders, can kick some serious butt. The one time the computer-controlled wookiees came at me with major air power (while I was the TF) I got creamed... Good thing the computer usually neglects air power ;)

Well, sorry if I am a bit our of sync here, but I have a few favourites:
:bdroid2: 's Destroyer Droids, :atat: 's, Jedi/Sith, Wookies troopers, and Beserkers, and I really like the look of the wookies fortresses....
i am the 2nd one on this mighty thread to say this, but i really enjoy the rebel speeders. They are quite weak, and . . . well, they are easy fodder for anything with a rocket, but they look cool, and they're fun to move around, they're fairly fast, and they are really handy protection, esp if playing against those nasty AT-AT's.
kind of funny - given the support for the AT-AT's - that the lowly speeder makes easy mincemeat out of them,

well, i like air against comp, and a fully upgraded royal crusader rocks (250 health and sheilds). also jedi are pretty nice........:evanpiel:
I like Empire mechs the most.
My favorite to look at would be the AT ATs. I love the way it looks when 10 of them are tramping toward the enemy base. I rather wish they had a melee attack. I'm sure there are game balance reasons why they don't but the fearsome thing about them in the movie was with their enormous size they would step on anything that got in the way. It evokes primal fears of dinosaurs and the like.
I can't say I have a favorite unit to use in the game though. I guess if I were to pick one I'd say cannons. If you have a whole bunch of cannons (defended with some anti-air and repeater troops) whatever you click on will eventually be destroyed. It takes awhile to pack and unpack, but usually I've got nothing but time.
You can beat the enemy with any properly organized group of units though... well... except anti-air troopers. I'd say they're my least favorite unit. I usually don't build them.
My favourites are following: Battledroid recruit, AAT, MTT, AT-AT and destroyer droids.:bdroid2: :atat:
