Hello I am just wondering why avatars been remouved:confused: ?
I think it was fun to see all the pictures it lessened the monotony of reading poasts. I wish we could have them back:(
If it is too much trouble I understand I just thought I would ask.
Earlier in the day, the boards seemed slower and I got a vB is down error as well. I'm guessing that with the extra weight of people coming in to discuss the patch and the demo, the server got overloaded, so they took down avatars for a while. They'll eventually be back, I'm sure.

They periodically get removed, since our servers are just not that great when it comes to handling the huge volume of people.
If you get them back, be happy, this situation isn't likely to improve until the day when we can get new and better servers for the forums (which costs money of course). Sorry!
