OH GREAT! A members rating system.. that's only going to cause fights... "Hey... how come I'm only rated 3 while Mr.[name here] is rated 5" etc... *incredibly deep sigh*

You can turn your rating system off, it's really no big deal. I give everyone 5's here in this thread because I am in a good mood today :D

I agree with Pedro.

The new format is hard to read, and I don't like the having to sign in before you're allowed to reply.

I don't see any new features (just the old ones made more complicated/irritating), which leads me to quote myself from another thread:

I can tell by the grunting sounds that my mother's PC is making that it's a few moments away from crashing, so I'd better leave now.

Check it out now, I think it looks a lot better than it did.

Thanks Aristotle. ; )

Relax... we're just playing around with different stuff, we'll eventually settle on something that should be good. ; )

"Jedi Master" is actually an old rank (as old as the others). It signifies somebody who is a Moderator, but not an Admin.

Admins are Jedi Council and have more powers than Jedi Master (Moderators).

I can't see anything much that has changed
except the colors, the format, this login/logout thing, everything is every which ways, and I can't tell which ways up
anything else we can think of

BTW, I haven't been on here for a while because I was off attempting to find a job and didn't get to use my computer that much :D

I like the new look a lot better than the old one.

Makes it more different from other UBB forums, which all looks the same.

Good job!

Some of the features are Snowboard-esque too.

Kurgan, any plans to update the owk.net forums?

Anything that simplifies life and makes idiots have access to things I am against. I long for the good ol' days of the Golden Horde and the Spanish Inquisition.

I really like the new colors. They look good, and all the text is easier to read now. Previously the message headers were like - black on dark gray and were very difficult to read.

Very nice :)

Warning, big rant ahead: I don't like the yellow as the boarder. It just jumps out at you too much. Something that would settle down back into the page would be better. A silver color maybe? (Like there isn't enough of that. ;))

EDIT: If nothing else, the color of the timestamp would work. (I just noticed it, don't laugh. ;))

the software running this new mb isn't exactly very 'cohesive' as i've had trouble logging in recently since the new changes were implemented.
