Why is the game called "Jedi Knight 2" and not "Dark Forces 3"?
because its a continuation of jediknight, not the original dark forces.
jedi knight followed kyles transition from being a merc into being a jedi knight. by the time we get to outcast, there is not much connection with the old df plot. kyle is a jedi, and so, as it is a continuation of jediknight, and not kyle's passing into jedihood, its should rightfully be jediknight 2, not dark forces 3.
it may not seem right to you, as with many others, but LEC obviously thought it through for a while.
if you're losing sleep over a game name debate, you need a break from computers :)
take up something non jedi related, like footy
SO really it should be called Dark Forces 2 : Jedi Knight2 : Jedi Outcast.

Im hoping to be able to download JO soon. JK is and has been available for a couple of days. JO should be soon :D (uh...i mean the demo ;) )

I wonder how big the demo will be?? Could be as small as 90Mb, but thats unlikely with a fps demo. I reckon around the 200Mb area :) . I'll definatly have to download that with my T3 computer. Might take a while with my 56K modem :eek:

Thats highly doubtful RAVE, LEC are highly protective of there software (and info) and someone's would have hell to pay if it were leaked. Of course that didnt stop Tie fighter from showing up on warez sites two weeks before it was released way back in '94.
An early demo of Obi-Wan was leaked. I never got a hold of it but I heard it sucked LOL.
Yea Raven and LEC games rarely get onto Warez sites...which probably means they wont get onto them early. They have real tight security. We can all hope though :)
