None of 'em...Knights Of The Old Republic will be the GREATEST!

But if I had to choose between those two, it would have to be Outcast.

Qui-GONE: KOR is like, 16-18 months away ;)

As for me, while I'll get both games... JKII is where it's at.

I haven't been waiting this long for a sequel to Jedi Knight only to not play it because some amazing MMORPG comes out...

This isn't force commander nor the same engine, how could you make such a shallow remark like that?

JK2 without a doubt. I don't really know that much about SWG. Both should be good in their own right..

Rebellion was actually addicting..I sucked at first before reading the manual..but after I read the manual I was awesome...it was complicated yet very fun..I wouldn't mind to see that again..not many graphics but it was very intensive...

How could I make such a shallow remark? Like this: Look how Force Commander turned out.

Even though it may not have the same engine, it's being developed with the same overseers, and so will most likely have a very similar style of gameplay. I can make any shallow remarks I'd like.

As for Rebellion, it was extremely addicting I agree. It was a supremely excellent way to waste time. About 3 hours would go by and I wouldn't notice. It didn't stay fun for very long though.

Yeah, I agree, Rebellion gets slammed unessesarily hard. If you take the time to learn it, it's actually a fun little game.

Oh the joys of building a fleet of 5 Super Star Destroyers, each one named after and having aboard a Dark Jedi whom I trained. And lets not forget their full compliment of Tie Defenders. I even had a Death Star I named the "Emperor's Hand" how cool is that?

The only drawback to that game is pi$$ poor AI. I could totally dig a Rebellion 2, just crank up the AI, and make it turn based, not real time. there really wasn't any reason that game should've been real time and not turn based. Except for the fleet battles that is.

how can you even compare them. Jedi Knight wins by far. when I first got JK I would play it for 8 hours a day ez, no game has even come near that yet

The only similarities between FC and Battlegrounds will be Star Wars. FC was developed by LEC which had NO previous experience with RTSs...Battlegrounds is being developed by the creators of Age of the Empires, which is one of the best RTS series ever. Battlegrounds is gonna be 100% better than FC because it is using a proven engine and being created by an awesome team.

As far as Outcast and SWG...I am personally scared of SWG. If you think about how many people have lost their lives (!) to Everquest, think about what it will do to the people who play SWG! MIllions of people wish they could live in the Star Wars universe and this is going to give them their chance. SWG is gonna be like a drug to a lot of people which frightens me :). But, I think JKII will be a game that is more enjoyable to me. I just like FPSs better than RPGs.

Well I know. But they do have the same project leader if I remember correctly. I'm also a little skeptical about the RTS. I hope the graphics turn out ok, but you can expect AOEII-level graphics. They're only sprites after all. Nevertheless, I think it will be better than FC. Much better.

As for Galaxies or JKII, I'd have to say JKII, but I do want to get Galaxies as well.

I will get all SW games for PC. But JKO will be my favorite. I prefer FPS over all other types of games

I'll play them all of course, for a period of time. If SWG is a monthly fee however, I'm afraid I'll have to decline. I'm not that obsessed with video games that I'd pay per month to be able to play it. JK2 will be amazing (better be), and I want a Rebellion 2 as well. The biggest pain-in-the-@$$ for Rebellion would have to be the slowness. I wouldn't play it multiplayer because it would be a 4-8 hour game. Same reason I wouldn't play Heroes III on the net. It would have to be real-time and not so slow-paced. SP was fun though...

I agree, about the monthly fee thing.

Having a single player portion would be a big help to me, because I tend to pick up a game for awhile, play it non-stop, then take a break and not play it for awhile (days, weeks, months, it depends) and I'd like to be able to come back to it where I left off without having to buy the game again (essentially).

I am more looking forward to JK2, just because I'm a far bigger fan of shooters and action games than I am of adventure or RPG games.

A monthly fee is no problem for me... I mean it's only 10 dollars a month, no more than what you might buy on other things. Personaly, I wouldn't pay 10 bucks a month for any other game... but this one is different, considering it's Star Wars. :)

this has to be one of the hardest questions i have ever had the priveledge of answering. SWG has been a game that i have been looking forward to for years, ever since i can remember. being a priveledged young man ($$$), i wouldnt mind paying that fee every month to live a life-long dream (yes, i am a dork). so, SWG is my #1, followed quite closely by JKO.

I can afford it too, but I don't want playing a game to have a constant upkeep. It adds up. I'd also very much like a single player for SWG.

Honestly, I'm sparing myself the trouble of bying SW Galaxiesand then saving money and wait AGAIN. Anyways, I hate strategy and space combat-flight simulators. Jedi Knight wins by far. Sorry to dissapoint you boys and girls, but I remain true to my choice. Anyways, what sort of crazy human would sit a JediKnightII.net if he/she liked GALAXIES more ?

JK Was da BOMB and JKII will be the re-BOMB of JK

We all played JK for years, if raven uses the same formula we'll all be playing jk2 for years to come...

Yeah SWG looks really amazing, the pic with c3po looks just so real, but if I have to choose between graphics and gameplay I dig gameplay way more :)
I haven't really got the patience to play games like SWG or rebellion etc

Just gimme my sab and conc and I'll have fun 24/7!

SWG is a MMORPG its hardly a strategy game.. Comparing to rebeliion is just.. Wrong. Go read Starwarsgalaxies.com.. that game looks great.. the only thing that really really really puts me off is paying Ј10 a month!
