im trying to enable cheats but when i opened my .ini file, all it said was

Just to point out you cannot visually see the cheat window activate in TSL. It's something that Obsidian did and all you have to do is push "~" and type in the command.

Hey, just like HarIII said, you can't see the console. Note you can run about in the game with the keyboard. A handy way to check if your console is active; is to press forward, your character should not move nor do anyhting really.
Oh, the ~ key thing, I have to something else to get my console: AltGr + (µ/Ј/`) key. I have to press that last button twice sometimes... it's really odd.
But it does work :)

Well, that's the button just right of my spacebar. Mind I live in Belgium, so I have a AZERTY keyboard. So a few buttons are differant from the standard QWERTY keyboards.
So the Alt Grand? Something like an alternative Alt? :lol:
I should look that up once, what the hell it's for...
Anyway the ~( have to use my Alt Gr button for that tilde :p ); been a troublesome thing. Most games use it to call up the console and the tilde was always on another key. Go figure...
I believe the 3 2, just next left of the (1 & |) button, was a tilde to... of somesorts... o_Q
I have never had this problem. Then again, it was hard for my friend Sam to enter in the cheats. His computer is old and slow and the font size in the readme is huge.
will using a mac keyboard change anything?
Normally no, like 99% of the buttons is just the same. You only have those "Apple" command buttons, instead of Ctrl I think. Can't remember it's been a while since I worked on a Mac.
I would suggest to you try some key combinations: Like Shift + = or Shift + µ
See, it took me a while to find my AltGr + µ combo... to open the console o_Q
The minute you can't move your character or can't click on anything to interact with, you'll know it's open. Then hit Backslash a few times, cause you might have typed in a few " ," or " µ" or " $" etc...
Still, couldn't you download KSE ? Cheat editor for the Kotor games? Of course, perhaps it doesn't work on Mac... not sure of that.
I haven't tried KSE. Maybe i should. i'll check that out

Glad to help! I wasn't sure KSE would help. If you're into modding and need to warp to another module or such, then KSE doesn't work.

ok so i did the whole .ini thing right and when i tried to input cheats ingame it wouldnt let me. im pressing ~ i know i cant see it but i cant type anything in.
