It is truly amazing the things you can find on the internet. Up until very recently, I had no idea that the entire Knights of the old Repulic storyline had its origins in comic books. For uninformed individuals that would be interested in learning some of the roots of Star Wars history, wookieepedia (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page) is an excellent source of information.

Which brings me to this mod. I wanted to make a new robe mod and decided that I wanted to put a little SW history into it this time. So I looked for someone from the KotOR era that could have owned the robes and found Nomi Sunrider (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Nomi_Sunrider). I did not originally have any intentions of making a lightsaber for this mod, but I loved Hugh Fleming's render (http://images3.wikia.com/starwars/images/a/a5/Nomi1.jpg) and decided to recreate the lightsaber, too. Many thanks go to T7nowhere (http://www.lucasforums.com/member.php?u=105329) for all the wonderful advice he gave me while I was making it. :)

I did implement the robes & saber in-game this time around. They can be found in the museum of the royal palace on Onderon. One small bit of advice: bring some medpacs. I would also like to thank stoffe (http://www.lucasforums.com/member.php?u=180865) for some scripting help and the truly amazing TSLPatcher utility. :)

You may want to check your override before you install this. The lightsaber uses model w_lghtsbr_222.mdl, w_lghtsbr_222.mdx, and g_w_sbrcrstl222.uti. You may have conflicts if you have other saber mods installed. Also, any mod that may have used the k_mus_treasure.ncs script will cause conflicts. Note that this mod will not overwrite exitsing saber model files, the saber crystal uti / texture, or the museum script. I did pretty much take over the museum. Lastly, this mod is guaranteed to be incompatible with mjpb3's Darth Traya's Robes (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=167710). The reason being they both occupy the model k slot in the appearance.2da. So, if you already have mjpb3's mod installed, this mod will overrite the appearance.2da information and render it useless. You have been warned! You will also no longer be able to wear the armored flight suit.

A *patch* is now available that will alow you to change the model column used in the appearance.2da. Implemented as a separate download located on the same download page found a little lower down.

There are several restrictions for both the robes and the lightsaber:

Restriction: Female
Restriction: Light Side
Restriction: Jedi Weapon Master
Restriction: Jedi Master
Restriction: Jedi Watchman
Restriction: Human

You can not use these items if you chose to become a Sith Marauder, Sith Lord, or Sith Assasin! Nomi was a light side character, so I'm just following SW history.

The stats for the items can be found in the read_me.rtf, read_me.txt, or the tslpatcher install window. You can see screenshots & download this mod from my website here (http://www.kristykistic.110mb.com/index.php?page=k2007).

Hope you enjoy it :D

Minor Update:

For people that want to remove this mod, I've made an undo patch (uses the tslpatcher) to restore the original values for the modelk and texk columns to the appearance.2da file.

The sole purpose of this is for people that may have installed other mods affecting the appearance.2da after they installed this one - which would make restoring a backup very impractical.

Please note that this is all it will do. It will not make changes to the baseitems.2da or upcrystals.2da. If you've installed mods that affect these, it won't hurt anything to just leave them as is.

This is a separate download that can be found on the same page (http://www.kristykistic.110mb.com/index.php?page=k2007) as the mod. (I didn't figure everyone would need this.)

And again, thank all of you for all the wonderful comments. It actually makes all the time I spent working on this seem worthwile. ;)

Wow, this looks very, very good! The quality is simply amazing!
Its just too bad about the mjpb3's Darth Traya's Robes incompatibility, guess I'm gonna have to choose just one mod... tough choice!

Yeah, well, I'm not sure I like this either, so... I'm currently working on a *patch* that will allow you to use the model in any model column you want in the appearance.2da.

I can think of a couple of issues this will cause:

Obviously you will no longer be able to wear the items from the column you choose to replace.
If you do attempt to wear something from that column it will probably either allow you to wear the robes for free (at least the first texture) or it will wrap the model with the wrong texture. I'm not really sure which as I haven't actually tried that yet.

The one downside to adding a new model is that you have to steal an appearance slot from somewhere.

Update: Model Column Editor

As promised, a *patch* is now available that will allow you to change the model column used in the appearance.2da to any column you wish. This can be found as a separate download located on the same page (http://www.kristykistic.110mb.com/index.php?page=k2007) as the mod.

The patch comes in two flavors:

A program that will directly edit your 2da's for you.

Just downloaded so I haven’t had a chance to try this yet, but from the screenshots everything looks wonderful. I’m sure everything will work fine because of the high standards you’ve always included in all your mods.

Thank you for sharing all these beautiful creations of yours with us.
