Well, ohh dear, can't beleive i actually posted this, well, it's not really a WIP just yet, more of a recruit thread, I am planning a translation of the MotOR Yavin 4 Mod.

I am recruiting for people who can translate the text from Polish To English, then I'll take all the translated text and change all the Polish text to the translated English text.

I may also translate to other languages (E.G: German, French, Spanish ect)

So if you can read Polish formal and slang PM me or post here so we can begin to translate the text.

Also i would like some feedback on the mod. :)

Yes I Emailed the creator and he has given me permission the translate and release it to the public when completed, so.... Now all i need is the text translators :D

Thanks L0rdReV@n88, it took a bit of persuading him to let me do it but he gave in :D, I really hope someone who speaks Polish is up to the task.

This looks awesome, the fact that it was in polish has stopped me from playing this mod. It looks like I'm missing out on something pretty damn cool so I look forward to seeing the completed product!! Great idea, and great job!!

Ok guys, time for an update, now this project is officially a WIP i can post progress reports, first update, all of the text for the first module and second has been translated and the first module's English text has been incorporated into the module, making module 1 100% completed, WOO!!


Looks very nice. :emodanc: Though perhaps you should bump that down to 99% completed and do another round of proof-reading of the text? I noticed some mistakes and errors in those screenshots. The final mod would look more polished if those were corrected. :)

Thank you, and yes i just went through the pics, and i noticed one in particular:

"But also has small cargo hold"

Theres no "a" between has and small, lol.

Ok, Stoffe's correct, module 1 has been moved to 99.9% complete, lol

And I noticed I made few errors in Trask's dialogue. Bah, gonna fix that along the next module work.

Double-checked and fixed errors and re-send both modules.

Glad this is getting some interest, and thanks -DK-, I've just got back from College and ill correct those errors now, and start putting the module 3 .rtf together.

And another quick update, module 2 (yav_91.mod) is now around 90% complete, need to correct a few things.

Yeah i have noticed the module's are backwards, lol, theoretically, Yav_90 would be the first module but it's in reverse, Yav_99 is the first module, lol.

Ok a quick update, unfortunatly as the modules are backwards and I'm warping to them because they are backwards, it keeps warping me into locked rooms so i can't get out, lol, so no screens at the moment, but the modules are building successfully, module 1 (Yav_90) is now certainly 100% complete, module 2 (Yav_91) is now i beleive 100% complete but with out starting from the beginning of the planet it's hard to tell, module 3 is shaping up nicely as well as module 4, should have some screens by the end of the day.

Ok time for another update, I have play tested the modules we have done to my best ability and i can now say that module's 1-7 are now 100% done, wooooo. All thats left to do is the final 3 modules and the files that go in the Override folder.

Not much of the adventurous picture update i would of liked to show you all but this small video update will have to do, it shows a small preview of 2 Jedi students in the training room of the Yavin Fort.

Unfortunately the original file size was to big to upload to my site as it was taking so long to upload, (due to me downloading to much stuff at the moment) it timed out, lol, so it is in .bik format and you will need RAD Video tools to view it.

Hmmm... Funny you should say that, well it was going to be a surprise but since it has come up early ill give in and tell.

I want voice overs so i will be recruiting for that, I haven't gone through all needed parts yet but i will once we're finished with the English translation.

In other update news, module's 8-10's text is now being translated and the Override folder files text document is being made to be translated, so maybe, and i say maybe, 2 days, it depends on how long it takes to write out the whole Override files text, remember within the override files are: Items, Weapons, Armour and more, in those files we have descriptions and names, plus other various things, so 2 days isn't certain, but still, we're almost finished.

And if we are going to have voice overs it'll take at least an extra week, maybe more depending on the actors/actresses. And i do want voice overs for the mod, so i will hold of as long as i can for the voices to be finished before people start getting violent for me to release it, lol. And thats not an invitation to get violent to release it either, lol.

I would just like to thank you, Master Zionosis, for working on this project. You and your team of translators have brought me out of my lurk...

I had hoped that someone would take this on, and I'm excited by your translator's rapid progress. It lends credence to my belief that the TSLRP translation will be quick and relatively easy, as long as they get translators as efficient as yours!

I look forward to the release!

In progress news, all modules have been translated and the Override files text is now being translated, so overall about 90%, soon i will be recruiting for the voice acting.

Brilliant Job here -DK- and master zionosis. I remember Downloading this Mod a while back and Then once I had it installed it was in Another Language Lol, But now thanks to you two I can finally Play this Mod very soon. ^^

Well, the translating progress will slow down now, i sent the page of Override files text to -DK- and, well, we know it'll take a while to translate the whole lot, as of descriptions of items and weapons.

Will this mod be compatible with Exar Kun's Tomb mod? If it is not can someone tell me a way so it can be. Thanks. P.S. This mod already rocks, this is making it better.

It seems that allot of people haven't actually played the mod as i keep getting asked this question, Exar Kun's tomb is already in the mod, its an area you have to go through.

But to answer your question, yes it will be compatible. :)

Ok guys it's been a while since i gave an update, mainly because the translations are still going on.

Well I've decided to start recruiting for the voicers, the parts that need filling are below:



Elite Republic Soldier (Female)

Elite Republic Soldier (Male)

Larson (Male)

Vandar (Male) (Could be tricky, must sound like Yoda/Vandar)

Master Virmos (Oldish Speaking Male)

Dodonna (Female) (Must sound similar to Admiral Dononna)

Officer Jack (Male)

Trask (Male) (Must sound similar to Trask)

Thanks, is it the same as the completely separate mod Exar Kun's Tomb? I have three questions. To how many characters are you adding voise to (I remember it being brought up.)? Are there any new items like the armor Trask was wearing? Will there be a lightside/darkside story change or will it be the same story regardless of your alignment?

Exar's tomb is completely different in this mod, the voicers positions are above, there are new items and amour in the mod, not sure how many though, but there is allot, and I'm not sure on the story change, i don't think it does change it much, as we are still translating things i still haven't been able to play through the entire planet yet.

I actually have some pretty bad news, it's not so much on the mod but more my PC, recently, like 2 days ago I received some 'lovely' gifts from some porn spam bots. They infected my computer with currently 'unknown' trojan's and viruses that cannot be 'found' on my computer to be removed, so while I am waiting for my computer to be fixed, which will be about a month, (I'm getting a new hard drive then so...) I'll back up all my important files and transfer them to my new hard drive and then wipe my current HD and reinstall windows, UGH :wornout:, and then I'll get back to work with everything, from now on I'll be using a PC form an internet caffe, to go online every now and then to reply to threads and what not.

So wish me luck on my recovery, I'm sure Glovemaster will, since he had one of these recently, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, see you all soon :waive1:

wow thats really sucks i know i got the same thing on my old laptop b/c it was to old to run spam blockers and stuff hope everything works out im really looking forward to this mod. one suggestion though could you possible release it without the voice acting and then later once the voice actings done make a 1.1 or something if not ill be happily content on whenever you release it just a thought btw lol
