I have SimCity2000 for the Playstation.I had that game since Easter 99 but couldnt figure out how to get a single person to come to my city.
My favorite game of all time is Unreal Tournament.
No other game even comes close to the amount of fun I've had with that game.
yup, i've played it. How do you destroy the Death Star II? And I can't figure out the controls for Raiders of the Lost Ark.

ok Thrawn, to destroy the Death Star II I think you have to hit the core (the red pixel.
These are the controls for "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (for some reason you can't use a joystick or gamepad):
"O" = up
"K" = left
": ;" = right
"L" = Down
"J" = shoot or action
and to select your items just use the arrow keys left or right

I used to play Maniac Mansion on my NES all the time, and that game truly ruled. I also liked TF a lot. How much? Well, I saw my friend play it on his 486, so I immediatly went and bought it. Too late, I realized that my 386 was below the box specs. Didn't stop me. I played it with all graphics at min, no sound, and at speeds better measured in seconds per frame, but I loved every minute of it.
Still, not my favorite game. Nothing compared to Falcon 3.0.

best flight game: Down Patrol
best sci-fi flight game: Tie Fighters/Privateer (the first one)
best adventure game: Day of the tentacle/Fate of atlantis (just gotta love punching those nazis)

The best games Ive played are the:
Adventure: Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis and the Monkey Island series.(LucasArts)
Sci-Fi Sim: Freespace 2 (Volition)
Best 1st person shooter: Dark Forces series (LucasArts)
oh yeah I forgot:
the best beat'em up game: Samurai Shodown 4 (for NeoGeo)
all NeoGeo games were originally created for arcade so they are meant to be really impossible that way they force you to spend a maximum amount of quarters to continue.
SSD 4 is the most impossible beat'em up game I've ever played: I spent more than 2 hours trying to beat this guy, I couldn't do it! It was getting very late so I paused it for the whole night and continued the day after, still no victory. I got fed up with hurting my hand each time I banged the table with anger so I stopped...
Those kind of games are really bad for your health...

I justed finished a NeoGeo game and I calculated that if I had to play in a real arcade it would have taken me more than 30$ worth of quarters to finish it....
Damn quarter eating machines, they do well their jobs. Anybody here spent more than 50$ in a arcade game??
