I wonder how much it'd go for if it were not for charity. Or sadly, maybe that's the same price as if it were not for charity :p

Not my kinda thing. Cool, yes. But Legos and prequel era stuff and big expensive things don't go over well with me when it comes to my choices in collecting.

Yeah god knows why they called it a rebel star destroyer especially after all the effort that went into building you think they would've got the name right.

Wanna go halves? we can take turns in gawping at its awesomeness.

It's built around a steel structure (obviously, the thing wouldn't hold together even with glue at that size). It's for a good cause... ;) I could see a museum or foundation buying it, or just some millionaire geek...

If you build it right and make sure it has good support, then you wouldnt need any steel support. Get me a few tons of legos, and I will make you one from scratch.

Doubtful, unless it's just going to be resting on the floor the whole time. Even with glue it won't hold together, since it would collapse under its own weight! Unless you like use custom pieces that are "giant" (ie: eight foot long bricks or something). ;)

But knock yourself out. I think those big lego things are cool. I wouldn't have the time, money or patience to do something that big, by myself anyway, but I appreciate how cool they cool. ;)

Must not... revive old topics.... :p As a general rule, it's best not to revive an old topic unless you have something really important to add. Oh, and welcome to zee forums! :)
