Has anyone noticed that Luke kind of smiled when Darth Vader saved him
from Palpatine in Return of the Jedi I
noticed this last night let me know if yall
have seen the same thing thanks

I'd have to watch it again. I sort of remember him grimacing (almost like a smile but I figured from exertion, not from happiness).

Maybe you've got something there, I'll keep an extra close eye out next time I'm watching ROTJ!

Hmmmm, I looked at that. But I missed it. I didnt see Luke smile, but I think he was just plain happy that he didnt get electacuted and that Darth saved him.

He smiled? I'm sure it wasn't in the script. Jedi aren't supposed to smile at people dying - that's a Sith thing.

I just watched it, and I don't think he really smiled. I think he was still wincing and making weird faces from the force lightning.:lightning

Palpatine dying, end of the dark times, saved his father.... can't a dude be allowed to smile? :)
