Watching the RotJ DVD, I saw the musical performance by a band for Jabba who says something like "Do that again!" before. I hate the CGI'd lead singers because they stand out from the rest of the musicians, that are muppets or combinations of costumes and make-up. What are your opinions?

Bleah the special edition song in RotJ sucks so much x.x If they didn't have that musical bit in it then the movie would be so much better IMO.

Yeah, I guess I've learned to just "accept it" (Lapti Nek seemed more alien and less familiar), but it really feels like it's from some other movie or show, not part of the original scene.

At least a couple of the dancers were kinda cute (for aliens).

BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its hard for me to say how the scene is in and of itself, but compared to the original version, it is far inferior.

The musical performance seemed like it came straight out of something childish like . . . Shrek or Finding Nemo .

Great musical performance in the special edition. The back-up singers looked hot even if they were suppose to be alien.

I don't have a problem with the backup singers; they had the good ole' realistic Star Wars appearance. I don't like the CGI'd lead singers.

The Jabba's Palace performance was like this clip of a cartoon stuck into a liveaction movie... it's totally out of place.

The new Ewok Celebration gives this, nostalgic happy feeling while seeing the short glimpses of worlds we've visited in the 6 movies so it's very much welcomed by me.

Yup. The Ewok song didn't really capture the significance of the moment. the death of the emperor was the beginning of the end of the empire (not taking into account all the EU) and was a great victory for the alliance as well as the oppressed people around the galaxy.

The new celebration song was more universal and had a nice peaceful sound to it that really did seem like it echoed throughout the galaxy.

I'm sure if you watch episode 1 to 6 all in a row and come across the special edition song and Hayden as Anakin’s ghost it will all seem nice and perfect.

i do not believe that episode 3 will make it all work nice and pretty... what i will do though, is watch 1-6, using the OTROTJ and i guarantee it will fit nicer

The Star Wars Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide by Ben Burtt is one place that I know of. I'm sure there are others.
