Ok after reading about both of these awesome games i've decided hype controls me haha.
well anyway who thinks killzone could actually be a halo 2 killer and that it actually has potential? i think this game looks very promising and might be able to compete with the legend.
Well, i do like Halo more, but that's mostly because Н don't really know a lot about killzone.
Waht kind of special feats has it got, for starters?
killzone has different chacaters like a stealher an heavy weapons guy etc. and a good arsenal of guns including a knife used for sliting throats and it has good graphics and a compelling storyline i want killzone the most cosi havent heard that much about halo 2

oh btw killzone is sonys fps no one knows if its meant to compete with halo 2 or just start its own kinda genre it looks very good and im told the gritty war feeling is really there check it out.

They seem on different levels to me. Halo 2 I'm excited for cuz, well, it's Halo.
But Killzone, I'm watching these videos and I'm seriously impressed by the realness, the movement and graphics. It looks like just another counterstrike/rainbow 6 game to me, but the graphics look intense and the gameplay looks fantastic.
halo2 looks awesomer becaase, well master chief is just so damn cool, but killzone actually looks alright, but ghey name though.
Glad this isn't a Metroid Prime 2 VS Halo 2 thing since Metroid Prime isn't a first person shooter, it's a first person adventure :dozey:
I dont think Killzone can stand up to the might of Halo2 because of every one knowing Halo so i think it will be more highped than Killzone and get more publisity.

I have, and I can safely say that it doesn't differ from any other first person shooter.
Hence why many people see it as being overrated. Personally I'm finished with the first person shooters. After years and years of it it's gotten old and dull and boring.
I don't have a PS2 and I don't plan on getting one so I am gonna go with Halo 2.
Eventhough I'm not a fan of Halo, I'm going for Halo in this match up... why? Cause Killzone looks like a Jin-Roh ripoff.
hm....i want halo 2. i liked the first one cause of the graphics and storyline, it seemed to pull me in. I also like the splinter cell series, it's fun sneaking around in the shadows, and taking out terrorists in silence. XD

We've all already seen what Halo 2 and Killzone looks like, Killzone is dull and atmospheric while Halo 2 is bright, a little too bright I've noticed. The colours are all very nice but in terms of making it look realistic they went more the way of sci fi movies that make everything look shiney new clean.

Lol...Sabre has a point. I'm a halo fan so i have to say Halo2. Plus you can pick up the Covenant Swords. :).
