can anyone get the grapple working all server side?. ive not got mine working either way yet . but can u do it server side like JA+?

im sure i have evryhthing.. but it wont fire ! . apart from i do do some strange thing if i grip a wall

+ if i attack a NPC the game shuts down with this error
S_FindName: empty name

Uh, you can't really expect answers 10 mins after posting. It's only been a day.

Anyway, my suggestion is that you figure out what S_FindName function does and then work backwards from there.

i know.. but i diddent wanna go back to a old version of my mod ( before i used Jedi Mod source ) , then find out why it diddent work. then do it al over again

Well, it's your mod. You can't expect other people to do your dirty work for you.

I suggest you ask slider about the grapple.

if you copied EVERYTHING relating to the grapple from the JM source code, it should work.
Search everything you possibly can in the JM source. grapple, hook, grappling, grap, etc etc....

Well, with all the new code in JKA, you probably just can't copy things 100% straight.
