Its me again :)
The Anakin Podracer looks great in game, still needs some tweaking by mr. stotto. I compared it to duncan's sebulba pod, and I decided I didnt like it, so Im making a new Sebulba Pod that will be more detailed. Also included will be Teemo, Gasgano, and Quadinaro's pods (the four engines pod).
Screenshots will be soon. I have half of them completed.

good news, i have gasgano and quadinaro's pods complete. modeling is easy as pie, its the skinning that takes a few days.

Thrawn, did Gasgano have a cameo in Men in Black? I think not :D. Also Hatrus the Sebluba pod thats out now is just fine. You dont need to go and make a new one.
I got Anakin, Gasgano, Teemo, and Quadinaro pods finished. Im now working on mars pod and next will be sebulba pod. Expect 6 to 8 pods total.
you're doing many vehicles actually done i see, AT-PT, AT-TE, Sebulba's Pod, Republic Ship, and more to come, most probably youll do a naboo starfighter or a snow speeder lol j/k :p, well, i hope seeing screenshots of the pods soon ;)
the at-pt is for my personal collection, i have secret plans for it hehehehe. the at-te has yet to be released by psycho, and the gunship by mars is not licened to modification by the public. i am doing a n-1 naboo bomber, you can find a concept model of it on tfn. im doing a sebulba pod cause the ones thats out now is not to my taste.
you might can get some sneak peaks of the pods from madcow, or zappa if you cant wait. but i wont release any pics publically till ive made and skinned all the models.
some one better let sjc know he needs to update his boonta eve map.

great now scout trooper will have reason to accuse me of being a thief again cause he dosent understand that in the real world of 3d jobs, taking a week on a single model gets you behind on your projects. modelers learn ways to decrease their modeling time, and a good modeler can decrease his time by 50% of convention (self-learned) modelers. i have a 3d education so of course i have learned ways to over come time constraints and methods of efficientcy, and to get to the point, I dont appreciate some people telling me Im a theif because they've never seen someone model that fast before. so what if no one here has seen someone so fast before, most of the ppl here do modeling for a hobby, not as a career. Im getting sick of the emails and PM's telling me Im not wanted, or that I'll never replace Duncan. Well I dont want to replace Duncan. I want to be "me!" And I want, strive, live for, succeed for all of my works I release to be better, and they will be. So leave me alone before I quit!
Dude, just keep up what you're doing and you'll be just fine. Don't take all the negative crap from people too much to heart. Do this because YOU want to do it, not for everyone else.

Don't let people like that get to you... You are probably the first person I've seen on LF who has a job doing this kind of stuff. I know you're the first I've seen. There is a way to ignor people on this frum.. I'm not sure how you do it though... (it's a forum option not a mental thing).
You should keep at it no mater what others say though. You're getting things done that alot of people have been waiting a long time for.

Textures on Anakin's pod need major work, and the "nose cones" on the Quad engines have really overstretched textures. Overall, nice work though.

:eek: many sick ppl, i personally appreciate you more than duncan cuz he never helped me with the AT-PT (he didnt have to of course), but when the model needed just a stupid solution like reset xform he said he didnt know what was happening to the AT-PT, and then the skiner of Duncan, Scoutt, didnt did the skin of my AT-PT when he told me he was going to do it. ok you got my attention. im gonna continue and release my work. thx for the encouraging comments, its good to know some people appreciate the time ive put into all this (not that I didnt want to). Im just not used to being praised this much for doing simple modeling work. At my job I do much more complex things and Im used to being told "looks ok but i want that tank done by monday or else...." Im also not used to being put down like this. Its like everything I do never pleases some people. I want to please everyone and I will need your help to make my models come to life!

update on the podracer project: I wont say how many I will release because I really dont know. Im gonna make them until I get bored with pod racers. I have 10 planned right now, but I also am making a custom pod for zappa, stotto, myself, and one or two others i havent decided yet. when it comes time for me to post all the screenshots, im only gonna post the main render of each pod cause there will be about 130 pics total (6 or more renders per pod).
Hehe Im gonna start designs on my pod later tonight. And which of course my pod is gonna be better then that little tatioone slave boys!

(also the skin isnt on bcuz is impossible to do the .skin file) me neither, Hartrus you will have to do a Reset Xform to ALL the pieces piece by piece and then you can send me and ill happily put it ingame, but i CANT take more work than putting this ingame, i am VERY bussy and im not a machine so if you make that with all the pods, ill gladly put em ingame
