Hi,
I have no problem running tie fighter on XP. My problem is that i can seem to get my joystick to work, so I still cant play the game.
USB SFS Flight Controller is my joystick.
(More info on JS http://www.joy-stick.net/reviews/joysticks/usbsfs.htm) )

I've tried the X-wing & Tie Fighter 95 Compatibility Fix, but see no change in the game whatsover, it still doesnt work.
(Link For X-wing & Tie Fighter 95 Compatibility Fix http://www.lucasfiles.com/index.php?s=&action=file&id=653)

Does anyone have any further suggestions that would be helpful in resolving this problem?
Please help

Thanks

About the only thing I can suggest is make sure DirectX is up to date. The new one, 9.0c, should have an updated DirectX driver for your stick.

Edit: Another thing you can try involves editing the Registry's entry for your stick (using RegEdit) to name another stick that DirectX supports (such as the Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital). Be careful, though, as directly editing the Registry could cause you to have to reinstall your operating system...make a backup of the Registry before making any changes.
