Baseing skins of slectable jedi- fixing colour selection

Im making a skin based of the single player rodian, mostly just palette swaps and the like. However, the trim of his outfit, the colour of which is selected by the player for the original skin, doesnt show in photoshop, and i dont know how i can make it appear as anything but white. The detail still shows, i just want to be able to set it to purple, and red/blue for MP skins.

Can anyone help out?

I just tried manually changing the tint ingame with playertint- but though the game recognised the command and stored it, the trim was still white/grey.

Open up the PNG in paint, you'll see the texture w/o the alpha channel, then you can copy/paste that into photoshop.
