Ok...
Since I've installed the patch weeks ago when it came out I found out that banning someone from your server is NOT working anymore.
This really sux since I need to keep lamers and bad people out of the server.
I used the ban commands and no luck

First make sure you're logged in as the admin (\rconpassword <yourpasswordhere>):
\rcon status
\rcon addip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (use the IP listed in the status window)
\rcon clientkick # (use the number of the player listed in the status window)
If you wish to ban a larger range, do the following:
Let's say their ip is 129.187.155.114
If you type in 129.187.155 for the addip that will ban a larger range. Back up another set of numbers and it bans even more possible IP's. Just be careful as the more you do the more innocent people on that person's ISP or LAN you'll end up banning.
But the first three numbers should be enough to ban somebody using a LAN or simple dynamic router. If the person is using a proxy, it's trickier, but most people aren't that determined.
It works for me.
