Mmmmmmm Lightsaber Handle :D
Nice, very nice Dooku hilt indeed.

On the subject of Count Dooku's sabers, this is his, what is to be believed to be his light side one....

To answer all these questions--I'm pretty much done making movie hilts, and I'll add a few more of my own custom designs before I release the pack.

www.thelightsaber.com) is a great source for saber hilt pics, and histories, but I don't plan on making any of those that weren't featured by the main Jedi. I may or may not make a Luke Ep V hilt and a Vader Ep VI hilt. If I can get a good picture of Sidious' lightsaber, I'll probably add that one as well.

If you have a custom design you'd like me to model / skin for you, I just don't have the time to fit them in my already long "to do" list; however, if you're desperate, I do need extra cash for Christmas--pm me and we can work something out.

You could easily make a new Vader hilt just by reskinning the Anakin hilt you made because the Vader hilts out now SUCK!

and um yeah, even the saber itself isnt that detailed or special in any way. Its a pretty unimaginative saber. I think that he did a pretty good job on it considering the subject.

Please can you release these hilts soon!?

I'm working on a new revamped version of a Darth Maul model that will be weighted better, have more voice taunts, and have a moving mouth and eyes--a Darth Maul that will look more like the movie after I finish up abit more on the head like skinning it better and so on I will show some pic's--I plan on having his clothes look more cloth like (as the movie) wth robed versions as well

I'm now in with 3DS MAX
Aaron Smith has been a GREAT HELP!!
NEOMARS1 please email me if your around, maybe you can help me by showing me your gift of skinning

I know a reworked Darth Maul will greatly be admired by the JA community

so if possible you can even just release your Maul hilt I would greatly appreciate it

I feel better! I was sick for over 4 weeks--that sux0red greatly. That was a particularly nasty strain of cold or flu--how can you tell the difference?

Anyways, I'll be in San Diego for Christmas. When I get back, I'll finish up this hilt pack and my Alaris model. Thanks for your patience! And Merry Christmas to everyone!

I have not been here for a while, but I must say that is amazing work. I have a request for Alaris, however. Alaris, I was wondering if you could ad the maul saber as a single bladed saber as well, after it was cut in half. I only ask this because it has not been done before, and also-when a double saber is cut in half in-game it has generic hilts for the two parts "broken saber model in sab file), but if you did this you could also make it so if the maul saber was cut in two, the remaining 2 halves could look like the saber, and that would be awesome! If you wanted inspiration for how it should look, Master Replicas has a "battle damaged" half-maul prop and you could go there or to rebelscum.com prop forums for pictures of it. Sorry for the long paragraph, but its just a thought. Also, if you are REALLY into requests, a Luke skywalker "A New Hope" hilt would be awesome as well. :D I tried modelling that one because There were a few things I didn't like about the version that is out there, but it was a bit too chalenging for me.

Please stop replying to old threads like this. If there is news, Alaris will post it. However, making usless posts like the two above mine (sorry guys) does nothing for the thread and just adds forum clutter. Alaris knows this thread is here and he will post relevant news if/when there is any. If you have to ask him about something, PM him or e-mail him. Nothing is more annoying than looking at a thread hoping to see and update and realizing all that is there is essentially "bump" posting.

Yes, there IS this thing called a life that some of us have. It is not a myth or rumor, it is real. Sadly, it prevents people from doing thigns they want sometimes. :D
