any gamer worth his salt should own at least one joystick. 5 years ago I'm sure I would have said the exact same thing,.. but since there hasn't been a flight combat sim really worth a damn to come out for PC in the last couple of years I can kinda u...  [Read More]

Yep. I use the older Logitech Wingman force-feedback sticks, but any of the newer ones should do. The MS Sidewinders are supposed to be really good also. Even a gamepad would probably work, if you don't mind remapping the controls a bit. But a stic...  [Read More]

Hmmm... interesting stuff. I stand corrected. Still, until we can show real-time evidence of human evolution (which is, after all, what this entire debate is truly about, despite what some folks may claim) those that refuse to see the facts will fin...  [Read More]

Whoa, evolution has been tested? If you can show where evolution was tested, I'll back down now. Every year there are viruses and bacteria that develop resistances and immunities to the treatments and antibiotics that had worked only months or weeks...  [Read More]

I cannot answer for all religions, but I can safely say that Christianity (and Catholicism), and Judaism, and I believe Islam, three major religions, have Creation. Not each and every every believer of those religions subscribe to the creation myths,...  [Read More]

Well i'm always amazed that in today's day and age so much of america still doesn't believe in evolution. But lets not go into that. Heh heh... I'm always amazed that we're still not on the metric system here in this day and age... but there you go....  [Read More]

I was just thinking about this. I read an opinion column by Pat Buchanan this morning on his personal theories on evolution. (Column here: http://www.theamericancause.org/a-pjb-051219-darwinism.htm) His basic postulation, that Darwinism has failed...  [Read More]

There's a couple of such moments: Obi-Wan pauses just before telling Luke what happened to his father. When Aunt Beru tells Uncle Owen "... Luke just has too much of his father in him." "That's what I'm afraid of." So, I think t...  [Read More]

Ah... but that goes against all the arguments made in the build-up to the war about how Saddam had no qualms about using WMD against Iran as well as against his own people. That he was a total madman willing to kill thousands without a thought. If he...  [Read More]

With all the intelligence gathering on Iraq in the build-up to invasion, it's a bit hard for me to imagine that we might have missed a convoy of trucks driving from all the WMD depots we had tagged out to the desert where there were backhoes and bull...  [Read More]

It's highly doubtful that any of those planes would ever fly again. They're scrap. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3116259.stm It would most likely take a complete strip-down and re-build of all those planes before any pilot would ever...  [Read More]

The problem with your argument is that you buy into the whole "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here" crap. The insurgency in Iraq is made up of Iraqi citizens who want to kick the Americans out of Iraq, for one reaso...  [Read More]

Criticizing the current administration and it's policies is hardly the same as saying "Down with America!" If it wasn't true in the Clinton years, then it's not true now. When American troops hit the ground in Afghanistan, I was about as g...  [Read More]

I'd just be happy if we could only get a handful of moderates with half a clue to rise to the top in either party to balance out the stupid extremists the rest seem determined to drive us all into. But back on topic: DeLay is clearly a sleazbo crim...  [Read More]
