Hey, I've noticed for some time that LucasHacks hasn't been up ;
When I click on their link at the main page of mixnmojo.com, an add-banners appears above, but then stays blank..

Is it really down ? If so, why ?

Tomas has taken down the main page, while he is working on a new design. But he has only taken the main page down, you can still visit the other pages (e.g. http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/links.php). So you'll just have to wait till he is finished (but he may put the site back up in the mean time).

By the way, do you know about any site, where I could download a program mostly ressembling the LucasArts adventure games, MI-style graphics program, a bit the same system for the speech use..
I've seen that I could download a utility like that but for Sierra games...is there any difference ??

If you want to make adventure games like the one in MI or CMI or Even sierra games, try using either Wintermute Engine, Agast, RoBot (Which I dont think is being developed anymore), Mad(madproject.sourceforge.net), or my personal favorite: AGS (www.agsforums.com)

It is awesome program with an editor in Windows. You can make games for all windows versions, Dos, and Linux. You can also add langauge translations to it and make plugins in C++, as well as many other scripting things like Structures, making your own events and functions and more... People dont think its very powerfull becouse you are allowed to make games easily, but thats not true, it is really powerful. It even has a great community. It can make all types of guis easily like MI, Zak McKracken, Indy, CMI, Full Throttle, Sam N Max, All sierra agi and SCI games (Supports text parser, multiple GUI's, Conversations, different character views, multiple characters control etc...) Many great games have been created with it, and it is updated almost every month.

You could also try SCI or AGI Studio, that could make some good adventure games. And if you are patient, Brian from SCI Studio has said that when he is done with SCI Studio and some other projects, he is going to make a SCUMM STudio.

Oh. But when all the sites on teh Lucas Network went down, so did the rest of LucasHacks. So now there is nothing left.

And I can't give you a line to Scumm16. Sorry. But I need it too. Could I have the link aswell please.

I uploaded SCUMM16 for windows that I have. Included in the zip is the source code. Maybe someone could recompile the source code so that the program can actually work becouse it doesn't work for me anymore.

Someone please help, and I hope this file is what you were asking for.
