If you get into the beta, will you have to buy the game when it comes out, or will you be able to continue using the same account you use for Beta? also, do you get any reward for playing in the beta?

1. Nope.. you still have to buy the game. a nit cheap aint it,... getting into beta almost free.. and then you wont have to buy the game? that wont earn them anything

2. Isnt being in the beta reward enough? it would for me.No .. the only reward is getting to play the game before most of us.

Beta 3 will be accepting upto 50,000 players, imagine giving out free accounts to them. A loss of a large amount $$$

Think of beta like this,

Getting to play the game early.
Getting to play the game for free.
Getting to play the game and see if you like it before you buy it.
Getting to tease other people that are not in Beta.
Getting to learn the game and feel comfortable with it before launch - so you get the best start.

ooo, that is cheap, and thats why most people want to get in beta, cause they think the account they have in it will work and they dont have to pay $$$

How exactly does SOE find out I have been blabbing about Beta? Will they have a satelite dedicated to JUST me? Because then I would feel very special. That warm feeling inside when you know you are loved... Wait... How does it feel again?

I tell Generic Human #1768772356 ALL about beta and they tell a bunch of people... How would these people be related enough to SOE to trace it back to me?

There's also people who actually respects the NDA even though their not part of Beta, and feels you haven't deserved to be in Beta if you can't respect the NDA, and report you. :)

Then there are those who are in Beta and do respect the NDA also, and report you. ;)

A.) Shrug, and talk about Diablo 2.

B.) Ask what the Hell I am smoking and WHAT is SWG? (My friends being mostly girls on a 5:1 ratio... had not noticed this until one of them made the comment of: "Hey, look at your odds... 12 to 1. They love you..." Then she laughed at me and told me to go make some guy friends. :D ;) :p

C.) Yeah... Beta is nice. "My name is Ray Nickel and I love Anarchy Online because I have no clue what Diablo 2 is all about... You stupids." -indescernable comment- "Shut up, Ben! You too, Eric."

D.) Go back to talking about Warhammer, which I do not like.

At my school, Heritage, I would estimate that less than 100 people out of 2000 students know ANYTHING about SWG.

I have about 720 kids in my school :). And that's from about 4 different towns in my area.

The bad part is, they all want to come to my house for LAN parties, and my house for Vampire and other White Wolf games, and my house for D&D, and my house... You get the picture.

i estimate 5 out of 900 students at my school know about SWG

Half the people in my school (literally) haven't even seen A, ONE, SINGULAR, Star Wars movie. Basically, when I say something that anyone would know if they've seen a SW movie, they just call me a SW Freak.

Funny thing is though: Heritage is one of the better top schools in the country, but EVERYONE is a stoner or drinks alchohol every night... Maybe not everyone, but a VERY high percentage of people at Heritage are dockers.:( :( :(

Swediot, you are right about schools being like that. Have not heard of one that is all angelic.

What I WAS saying though, is that I do not see what makes my school better than others, except Denver Public Schools, there is something to be avoided.;) But we are a good school, but we do everything the same.

ACT's are this week, and during the introduction of "How To BS Your ACT" mandatory meeting given by our school, they tell us HOW and WHEN to fill in the little bubbles on our registry forms like we needed the instructions.:rolleyes:
