Im sorry im sure this has been said. But i am new here and have zero info for the most part on this game just the screenshots. Im looking REAL forward to playing this.
my question is:
where is this game going to be hosted for online multiplayer?
thanks in advance
and again sorry if this is common knowledge
it's just not to me :P
Welcome to the boards (giftbasket anyone?)
The game will be played on-line at the MSN gaming Zone and maybe GameSpy.
Ofcourse you can also host yourself and pass your IP-adress to your friends.
But there will be no dedicated server from Lucasarts that hosts all the games if you meant that ... It's pretty much the same as in AoK.
Welcome, most probably Msn Zone cause ensemble studios had
Age of Empires on that network.
If you need information you can go and look at the updated preview on gamespot.
also go to developers forum, and look at Gaber's Greetings thread. many question have answers there.
Go 2 lucasarts webpage.
They have lots of links to Previews
You have forgotten your manners *gives frycaptain a giftbasket*
Unfortunately the game will be held on the Zone... I kinda wish it wasn't, but thats life...
Where is Rhett he allways has the best gift baskets???
I'm still waiting for mine.
me too:rolleyes:

I think Gamespy said they would get it too. I remember getting a newsletter and one of the articles was about that...
GameSpy supports AgeOfKings (I use GameSpy Arcade, not that other blan one), so since it does use the same engine, I would think GameSpy would be able to read it.
