Ok I have done everything, but I cannot find the Hammer to break the wind proppeler anywhere on the ship. I can't get into any of the rooms....I just found that device. Please help....and feel free to be blunt

It ain't. It's in the cave where Indy starts the level. It's the cave with the tatered Japanese flag. Oh, btw, you don't use the hammer to open any of those doors. That "device" is the next thing you must use.
