Galactic Conglomerate was created in May 2002, and is a Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) organization made up of multiple units. These units include government, enforcement (police/military), manufacturing, trade, and more. The Conglomerate has a self-supporting economy, and also gains resources from offering it's services to outside individuals. About Us
The Galactic Conglomerate is a player association that is made up multiple, diverse units. These include government, enforcement (police/military), resource gathering (mining, farming), manufacturing (droid/armor/weapon building), commerce, and more. Because it will have members of all essential professions, the Conglomerate is completely self-sufficient, and will be able to make large profits from outside sources.
Our Plans
With the right kind of people working behind the organization, the Galactic Conglomerate will become one of the premier powers in Star Wars Galaxies! First, we will work together to produce the essential tools needed to get started. Then, we will build our own city, which will be our base of operations. After that, we will put our economy into full swing, reaping in the profits that we'll need to complete our other goals, which include building an army, and finally gaining control of a large area that we can call our own.
Why You Should Join / Requirements
There are a lot of SWG player associations around already, and you may be wondering about what makes our organization special. There are multiple answers to that, and the first is dedication. Every one of the players accepted into the Conglomerate must fit several qualifications. First, they must play SWG for at least 2 hours on an average day. For casual players, that may seem like a little too much, but the time spent is essential to the proper functioning of the group. Secondly, they must be serious about the game. People who just fool around and don't get anything done are just a hinderence to the group, and are not tolerated. Lastly, they must be willing to follow orders. Although some people can't stand being told what to do, command systems have been proven essential for the functioning of organizations throughout history. Members of the Conglomerate are not slaves or drones, but there are certain things that sometimes need to get done. Another reason to join the Galactic Conglomerate is because we will be a professional and well-managed group. There are countless player associations with names such as "Dark Jedi Knights" and "Bounty Hunters". Have you ever considered the fact that these PAs will simply not be successful because they have no game plan, no structure, and no self-sufficiency? The reason you'd join a PA is to be a part of a real organization, and the Galactic Conglomerate allows you to do just that.
