My question is:
Is the only way to pay for monthly access to SWG by credit card?

Propably, thus far, yes. I hear a lot about people being able to buy some kinds of cards in game stores that works around this problem, but that has never been an option over here. At least I think UO and EQ has them. But then, I don't think either had them from the beginning.

So yes, having a credit card is the safe and sound way to do it, since that is the only way we know will work.

Lol Thanks, I have seen somewhere that it might be possible to pay upfront for 6 months on a credit card, which would certainly be a good idea for those too young to own one, and whose parents dont like them using it.:band:

As for the question, I don't think there are any information on the subject either for or against. :)

Being able to pay 1, 3, or 6 months at the same time is standard, and you'll be able to knock of a dollar or two if you subscribe for a longer duration.

And yes, I'm very happy that I'm not a minor without a credit card. That much suck pretty much :(. Good luck!

Well i should be able to get it on my parents card, another good idea would be have like a "Pre-piad" kit, similar to a Pre-paid mobile phonze plan, you "pre buy 3 months worth of Galaxies and enter the code that comes with the pack, and then you have 3 months paid for.

That's exactly how those cards are supposed to work, I'm told. You buy the card, get a code, enter the code in your client, and your month is paid for. Though, again, they don't exist over here, so I have no first-hand experience of them.

i went and looked on ebgames.com and they have those cards for multiple games, like eq, uo, sims online, and earth and beyond, which correct me if im wrong, isnt out yet. speaking as someone without a credit card, it would be pretty sweet if eb had some for swg before release. id be all about that.
