What's everyone's favourite piece of music from the SW movies or games?
Personally, I'm kind of torn between "Binary Sunset" from ANH (Luke standing outside the homestead watching the suns go down on Tattooine) and the Imperial March remix with the heavy guitar work in "SW: Galactic Battlegrounds"... :D
Force Commander, every track in that rocked
Shadows of the Empire, swoop chase
Shadows of the empire, imperial sewers
shadows of the empire, prince xizor's palace
shadows of the empire, skyhook battle
Rogue Squadron, Jade Moon
Rogue Squadron, imperial construction yards
Any music from Streets of Rage 2 kicks butt...
Any music from Streets of Rage 2 kicks butt...
Just to clear this up before it goes any further down the wrong route, I meant Star Wars movie or Star Wars games. Streets of Rage wasn't Star Wars. :p
Well, the first has to be "The Throne Room" from ANH and "Binary Sunset" is good as well. Imperial March, of course, is great.
From games, the best would have to be the Jango Fett theme from Bounty Hunter. I didn't really like the techno remixes from FoCom.
Well my favorite movie soundtrack is The Empire Strikes Back.
My second favorite is the music from Goerge Pal's The Time Machine
Best music from a video game is the theme from the origninal Zelda, with Colony Wars in at a close second.

Uhh....it's only SW games we're talking about.
And i forgot about one really good one. It's one of the theme's from Jedi Starfighter but i have no idea what it's name is and can't find it anywhere. I think it may be Nym's theme.
Demolition had a nice battle of hoth remix. =]
I really like 'Across The Stars'.
I like DOTF and Imperial March from the movies.
Game music....RS, JO, JPB and the like. :)
My favorite song from the Movies has got to be either Imperial March, or Yoda and the Younglings.
And I don't really know the titles of the songs in games.. :p
duel of the fates and imperial march
weird al chewbacca what a wookie:p
Streets of Rage wasn't Star Wars.
So...still kicks butt...
Well SW movies and games for one. Other movies include Terminator, Lotr, Star Trek, Aliens, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Jurassic Park, and Star Gate.
Other video games include Aliens vs Predator, Star Siege Tribes, Rainbow Six, Zelda, Star Fox, Perfect Dark, and of course Mario :D.
Binary Sunset. It sums up all of Star Wars IMO
Well I like Duel of The Fates obvisouly. :D
I also like the song at the ending of Ep IV when Luke and Han are getting there medals.
Now from games I like all of the Dark Forces music.
Now from other games I like all of the MOHAA music cause it is just awesome. I also like the main theme from the movie "The Rock". I also like Pompeii from Spider-Man trailer and Ebla from the Matrix:Reloaded trailer. I also like Urak-Hai from TTT.
:lsduel: :duel:

Oh dear, sorry about that, good call. Best music from Star Wars game? Shadows Of The Empire, hands down.
I love the music from TIE Fighter. Some of the best in the SW universe.
Although, it wouldn't be a bad idea to expand this topic beyond Star Wars. Makes for better variety.
Let's get it clear, most of the music from the SW games are usually taken from the actual movies themselves.
First soundtrack in a game that really made an impression on me was the use of NIN in Quake. From this I grew to love the music that NIN has made.
For movies, there are plenty, Gladiator, Entire SW Saga, LOTR, anything by John Williams really.
Vangelis's Music for Blade Runner was brilliant. I have the soundtrack.
I like the song from the 1st Galaxies trailer.
game OST's:
MYST
Riven
Exhile
Vampire the Masquerade Redemption
American McGee's Alice
Big Band Bebop and Bones ~ Grim Fandango
movie OST's:
Beetlejuice
Edward Scissorhands
Labyrinth
The Fifth Element
XXX (not porn, Vin Diesel )
Spawn
Grosse Point Blank
Mortal Combat
Charlies Angels
Natural Born Killers
Gone In 60 Seconds
Straight To Hell
Hardware
The Crow (Brandon Lee movie)
*all other movies were blasphemous.
Brandon Lee dies on set hence HE IS THE CROW.
end of story*
Cool World
Sid and Nancy
Repo Man
Dark City
Matrix
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Shrek
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
The Royal Tennenbaums
Dark Crystal
Nightmare Before Christmas
....ad naseaum ad infenitium...etc
Movies
Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers (HBO mini series), Planet of the Apes (the first 2 originals are best, but I like them all, even the 2001 one), Jurassic Park, Congo, Water World. Thats it for action.
Meet the Parents, Mrs Doubtfire, Groundhog Day, Man who knew to Little, Wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore, Dumb and Dumber, Space Balls, and of course, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. That's it for comedy.
Games (not just video games, mind you!)
Clue, Monopoly, Stratego (the SW one rules!!!) Chess, Scrabble, and Hungry Hungry Hippos (nothing like child hood nostalgia...) That's it for board games.
Dark Forces, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knight II (why is it not Dark Forces III?), Baldurs Gate I & II, The Need for Speed (NFS), NFS 3: Hot Pursuit, NFS 4: High Stakes, MoH: AA, and ST: Bridge Commander. Most of the games I own, I have a few more that aren't really replayable...
Music
Classical music is the best, IMHO. I love it all. Mozart, Beethoven, Pachabell, Teivkosky... You name it. John Williams's work is similar, so I'll throw him in (yes, I know he's in the modern music genre or whatever it's called)
Oldies on either Oldies or the Drive.
I don't listen to alot of music. I have control of PC, my sisters have control of all radios. I like Linkin Park, though. That's about it for rock bands, or whatever you call them nowadays.
OMG Katarn07 ....
Can't believe you actually put "Congo" in your Good-Movie pile....
Can't believe you actually mentioned i's name without spiiting vehemently. I did. You just can't see.
As an addition to my list, I have to say that I love the music from the "Dead Or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball" trailer is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
