In a screenshot I saw a speeder bike with a Stormtrooper
instead of a Scout Trooper how will the unit be? :confused:
Scout troopers look like storm troopers...
But they aren't the same.
It could be because stormies are also trained for speeder bikes. But we are more familiar with scouts using them. Maybe...
Does it make a difference. I'm sure most stormtroopers train for using scout bikes, riding dewbacks, AT-STs, and various other skills.
How can you really tell the difference in-game anyways? Besides, tehy are practically the same thing except for a little tiny change on the helmet and armour. Plus, if they were gonna be used in direct combat, they might have stormtroopers instead of scout troopers. Why does it really matter anyways?
It doesn't really matter, I just think scouts look better. :D

Well, there really isn't. There helmets are slightly different, and there entire outfit is a bit more boxy than the stormtroopers' comparitlively smooth design. If you look, you can tell the difference betweeen the Stormtroopers in the ambush, and the scout troopers on the speeder bikes.
Actually, from my old days of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, I was reading about the different Stormtroopers, and it says that the biker scout helmets have a range finder, an automap, and a global positioning device that helps them drive at those high speeds not to mention watch for trees and rocks when they are not busy looking backwards.
The royal guards for the Emperor were switched in and out of Stormtrooper units to help them keep their fighting trim.
I hope that answers a few questions, I miss playing that RPG back in the days of high school..no I am not a caveman I am only 25.
