December was a pagan month. That's why the church came up with christmas in the first place so to stop (compete maybe?) the celebration.

On of the days you go to a rich persons house and ask for food, if they say no, you play a trick on them(sound familiar?)

I also read somewhere that the 25th was a day to worship the sun, the curch twisted it around and made it the SON, like the son of god.

Everyone knows christ was born in the spring and not on the 25th

76% of USA are christian/catholic. yet 94% of USA celebrates christmas in some way or another.

Well, those are my little known facts about christmas.
