ok the situation is...basically, on models, if you view them in a wire frame, they have basically an internal face going across the hip area? just wondering if it actually is needed..and if so how many faces should it be?

if you someone can help it would be greatfully appreciated, thank you for your time,
yours faithfully, Craig

I suppose it's the caps. it's no only across the hip... its is also on the neck, shoulders, wrists and knees... it is necessary yes... for dismembering... unless you want dismembered models to become "see through".

Number of faces are un important.
And the caps are separate objects and not the same as the torso for instance... the are always two of them overlapped... cuz when you dismember the arm for instance... there is the cap of the arm.. and the cap in the shoulder.

yours faithfully Craig
