Okay, I kinda cheated this week. Sue me. :)

This week, instead of part 7 and 8 I've pushed the smash hit single foward a few weeks. So Nightlight is all still on scheduale.

I've decided to jump the gun as well and start putting together the bonus material for Lost Cause. And there won't be any deleted scenes on this, because everything has been left in. :p

Please post comments about part 7 and the song!

Oh wow, the song is excellent! :) Just as brilliant and funny as Just The Way You are. It makes me grin like a mad monkey.

Speaking of monkeys, wouldn’t it be cool if you were to do a Monkey Island inspired radio series, like Grim Fandango was to Tierra de los Muertos? Well, it’s just a random thought.

I haven’t listened to Part 7 yet because I have some work I should be stuffing in my brain, but I’ll take a look with my ears tomorrow – providing I don’t get kidnapped and taken to the moon by a handicapped penguin, of course.

Another idea: Monkey cricket.

I also need sleep.

A couple of people at World of Monkey Island were chatting about that possibility in the forums. I told them that if they wanted to write it and record the voices, I'd edit it and put it together. But except for a few idle discussions, nothing came from it.

Personally, I won't do it. From where I'm sitting the Nightlight scheduale has been planned out for, I think, the next year. I'm sure there'd be a few people eager to get their hands on the files on my computer! :D

So no, no Monkey Island yet. Not for quite a while. And if I ever did it, I'd call it The Quest for Monkey Island, and have Guybrush etc in it, clearly making it a Monkey Island, and destroying any hopes of ever releasing it due to copyright infringement. So at this point, I'm not even considering it!

But don't worry, there's new stuff on the horizon. I've let the cat out of the bag on the Tierra de los Muertos sequel. The great thing about the land of the dead is that potentially, you can keep coming back to it. You don't even need the same characters.

And there's a certain cause that I believe will be lost for some time as well... :)

Well couldn't you do a Terra prequle staring Da Casador learning the ropes of a Swashbucker? It would be set in the vein of MI's theme, but be different in setting and feel.

Just my 2 cents.....

Truthfully, I don't think Valora would be a strong enough character to hold his own spin off. But who knows?

Heh, time for me to get depressed again. I got word back today that Tierra isn't good enough to be played on air at the community radio. Ha! Isn't good enough for community radio! How much of a kick in the head is that. I didn't think it was that bad. :(

Those community radio nitwits wouldn’t know an excellent radio series if they had it shoved in their face by a tall purple man who shouted mad ravings in their ears. Keep trying! I’m sure someone in the radio business has some sense. :)

And in response to previous messages: ah well. Silly me forget to think that you might have other stuff planned in the future. Well, it was just a thought.

First of all GREAT SONG!
Darth Vapour has a lot of singin' potential. I'd love to hear him sing solo. And I have a question: is princess Leer changed? I don't know, she just sounds different.
Keep up good work!

I had problems with the Quick Time download
tried several times, got as far as Lube saying
can I call you Ozzy in part 7

and as far as the second verse in the song;
which was very funny and it took me a few seconds
to figure out what song you were parroting\parodying.

download was most likely my stupid computer
will get it all when I order the CD in the future.

What? Refused! Paplo Picasso would have admired Tierra. Anyhoo, BRILLIANT song (especially the part about suffering ignorence and smiling, classic) and dont be put of those chimps who bash on the type writers at that community radio station who right replies to mail.

PS. Loved the Wizard of Oz jokes.

I think it's called "Englishman in New York", or something similar--by The Police.

Don't freak out. It's coming. It's finished. It's funny. It's dramatic. It's got Vapour. It's got rebels. It's got wookiees.

It's even got a bit of the rumpy pumpy.

What it doesn't have is a working ISP from which to upload it. I wish I could afford a decent one. :(

Nightlight Productions is hosted by the Grim Fandango Network, which is part of The International House of Mojo, which is a member of the LucasArts Fan Network. I think.

Basically, it's hosted on what we call the Mojo server. Sometimes this server farts and the result is a 404. Refresh and the page will usually turn up.

Either that, or 8 of 12 is randomly deleting and reuploading pages in his sleep.

Thanks for the explanation, this never happened to me on the Mojo server but on some others. I'm talkin' 'bout rather big sites just vanishin' without explanation. Usually you'll get "we cannot keep this page up anymore, sorry for the inconvenience" message.
