In less than a weeks time I'm off on a last minute holiday to the beutiful capital of El Salvador; San Salvador. The purpose of this thread is for people to post and tell me anything they know about San Salvador. Absolutely anything, no matter how trivial it may seem. The best way to impress the locals is to step off the plane wearing a Ronald Reagan mask.
Actually the last part of the trip will be by boat, but I'll bear it in mind.

so brush up a bit before you go.

then in Central America
watch the water swirl down the bowl.
I scientifically know they swirl
in different directions,
but you will be able
to see it first hand.
also if you can
stay in the airplanes washroom
the entire flight and keep flushing
until you see the water change direction.
have with you in inventory one of those
global positioning devices and report back
when you have the imperical data.
I bet there would be a Nobel prize
in it for you.:D
I appreciate the effort, but most of it seems to be stuff I've already found out. I don't know exactly what you think I'm going to be doing there, but the last link doesn't help much at all. Though I suppose I could go dancing.

It looks as though my trip has been delayed for at about a week. I don't mind though, as long as I go within the next six months or so I won't have to get my arm filled with holes again. So if anyone else has info on San Salvador, there are still a few days at least to share it with me. C'mon guys, gimme the skinny. Who's been to El Salvador?
I told you I have been through
not all of central america, but
a lot of it. my trip was living
and traveling with the locals.
lots of metal tin, busses with
no shocks, people go to bed
in rural places early like 8pm,
no night life what-so-ever;
AND no monkey business.
officials and police believe in
payola system and bribes and stuff
AND IF YOU GET CAUGHT doing something
well let's just say these might be
your last posts ever.
Central America is fine if you are
going for cultural exchange and or
for a life experience or if you are
going as a 5 star tourist, but if you
are going as chowchilla charlie then
chowchilla bye 'it's sproutella for you'
