For me my favourite cutscene was the number 9 train one where it sheds it's skin and jumps into the pits of hell. That had me jaw-dropped after the first time i saw it.

No, my favourite cut scene is the "Is it love?" scene.
I think the cutscenes get better as the game goes. The final cutscene is undoubtedly my favourite, brings tears into my eyes every single time I watch it.
Very sorry for ruining the game for you, but my description of that cut-scene means nothings until you see it for yourself. Sorry once again if I have ruined it all for you...:(
I've decided to choose an early one, due to Darth not completing the game and that.
I like the one where Don Copal is sprouted. That's cool. There are some others too, but I'll post em later when Darth is able to ignore this and not get any spoilers. :D

at Manny, and Manny's looks of Pathos.
it is just excellent how Lucasarts
put so much into the game.
I hope mentioning these things
do not spoil too many newbies
enjoyment of the game.

I myself personally am partial to the one where Lola sprouts
Rosebud is the sled.
I also like the cutscene where Domino is killed by the coral crushers.
There are a lot of mighty impressive cutscenes in the game, but I have to say the one I love most is the one where:
Don Copal gets capped
I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic.

I like the intro the best. It sets up the story well and has some great moments ("Intimidating? Me?" and "I'm Manny Calavera, your new travel agent").

My favourite scene is the intro of year 2. ;) And the *Outside-Calavera-Cafe* Soundtrack: "Hi-Tone Fandango" is my favourite track. Well, year 2 is also my favourite year of the game. The best music, great atmosphere and Manny looks very cool. :D

I'm gonna be weird and say the cutscene where Manny uses the scythe to cut the flowers from Salvador's body. It just gives me goosebumps. And the final one. It is so... romantic and funny at the same time. And Lola, it is so sad. :( Hнjole mano, I love this game, it is really among the best games I have played.
Yeah, that one with the flowers is neat, ain't it? Turn it into an animated .gif image and it'd make a nice avatar.
Hell no! It is special. I watch it when I want to be awed, I don't want it thrown into my face all the time. :)
Awed? I don't follow. It's poignant and all, but on its own it doesn't seem all that powerful.
But it's so... symbolic. He is wearing his suit, with his scythe, cutting flowers! He looks like the true anti-hero, which Manny probably was at first, before he fell in love with Meche.
