the combat in this game probably wont be point and click so dont worry. X-box is releseing this game and it cant be point and click. Does x-box have a mouse?............. no it doesnt that should clear up a little bit of what the combat will be like.
Uhh..... how do you know that?
well x-box cant be a point and click cause it dont have a mouse and it would be way to hard to do it with the control stick and they arnt going to make them different like x-box isnt point and click and pc is so it wont be a point and click
I liek teh punktooatchun marks! :)
It's hard to read what you say without punctuation so please include it. :rhett:
The X-box could be point and click because both of the sticks can be pushed down and used as buttons. Will it be that way? *shrugs* I hope not.
Saying it won't be point-and-click is a bit presumptuous. But the other possibility is of a targeting system. You may have a target next and target previous button that highlights an opponent in range, then you hit another attack button.
All I care about is how it's gonna be on PC, since I..... don't have an xbox. :violin:
I suggest you visit the official forums and look Casey Hudsons newest post up, where he tells you that it is p&c...
Tsk, tsk... I'm gonna tell Casey that you called him a girl!
Ya, LJ, what did he do? ;)

You sly bastard! :p :D
hehe, always the sneaky guy :)
yes it might have a targeting system and then you click an attack button, and no it wont be a point and click because pushing down on the x-box controller could be to hard and it would be to hard to move and stuff(and there is no little hand therefor it cant be a point and click)
we'll talk when the game is out :)
thats too far away........:(
that's the trick, isn't it ...
Well, I hope that it has BOTH options. Point and Click and.... whatever you wanna call the other method.
If they DO have the..... other method, they should make it similar to how they did "The Thing" game (if you haven't played it, do so immediately. There's many a bug that need fixing, and it could use some improvement, but it still kicks major portions of ass). In "The Thing", you control your main character with WASD and the mouse is attack, but you can also control your NPC teammates (to some extent) using an in-game menu.
Heck NO! wasd in non-fps games are evil take the latest MI game for example, they changed from P&C to that and look what happened
well, MI 4 was still a pretty good game...
I wouldn't know got up to the monkey combat and quit to go back to the old school adventures...
:drop2: u wouldnt mind p&c :drop2: wow ur not to smart
I for my part want p&c!
now insult me....
I really have no idea what you guys are talking about.....

P&C would make the duels much more movie-like. Consider NWN's animations, for example. If you had to direct each and every move in a FPS-style fashion, it would look as gay as Richard Simmons in.. well, anything he wears. But NWN makes it P&C, and so the animations are incredibly well done, and it looks like a real fight sequence!
yeah, NWN combat&light&hadows= incredible...
