Hi to all! I'm trying to program a simple adventure engine, not to make a better one of sludge, ags, agast etc but just to have fun while learning some programming thecnique.
I'm developing the pathfind system and I tried to use the Scumm approach so I've got the box and the matrix that tell where to go when the straight line is not walkeable, it seem to work but the problem is:

How can I find the nearest box if I click outside the walkeable zone?

Thanks for suggestion
Greetings CiacioZ

Lots of <'s and >'s. Why don't you come to the forum at www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk) , sign up, and ask the creator Chris Jones (CJ) in the TECHNICAL forum.

Try reading the manual that comes with AGS. (or press F1 when you've started it)
