As the celbrating pilots enter the bar. The entire officer table turned there head to peer at the commotion, Col. Izzen, a young imperail officer, but despite his youth his face showed the lines of a much older man. Smilling to him self he quitely chuckled. The the nearby table was approached by a strager,
"interasting" he thought, but as he listend to there conversation he had to intrupt.

He stands, and appraoches the table of junior officers.
"Excuse me sir, im sure these young boys appreciate the drinks, and even though your, umm err "services" to the Imperail might im sure have been great, it is much harder to join hte ranks of his elite, which you cannot do at the local base. But if you like I could put you in contact with the local recruiter?"

The officer turns to, who apperately was the cause of celebrations and said.
"From what I hear you did very well out there today."
This got a strange look from the boy.
"I know everything that goes on at the base." He said brushing the youths coming question.
"Id like to resign you to a different squadron, one thats just recently had a combat loss, and I think youd do nicely. But this is purely voluntary and would require the utmost dedication on your part. But if you like I would speak to your squadron leader and see about having you reasigned? Of course if it doesnt work out im sure we could return you to your previous post."

Yes, any way I can serve the emporer will be satisfactory. I, of course, knew I would not be permitted to join the elites. Yes, if it is not to much trouble I would very much like to get in contact with the local recruiter.
He stands up, gives a crisp salute, waits for it to be returned and then heads back to the bar where he sits quietly, watching, waiting.

"No no you misunderstand me, all who server the Emperor are his elite, some jus tmore so than other. Here" he says handing the man and flimbsy with a anme and adress located on it. The man takes it then suddenyl surprused, after looking him over and taking his serious returns the man and watches him sit back down.
"So" he says to the junior officers "may I sit down?"
ooc: Grrr this i my 3rd attempt at writing a reply. My first attempt was huge i wrote it the other day I pressed reply to post it and it got eaten.
Anyway would have replied a few days ago if it wasnt for that. This isnt as good as the other but blame hotmail. This is just a quick one.

"Hello, my name is Jaym, I have been working for the Empire as a bounty hunter for five years and they have yet to dissappoint me. I am now ready to make a more active roll in aiding the Empire, when you all leave tonight, perhaps I could accompany you to the nearby base and enroll in the service of the emporer? "
Caalder turned around. He was a little taken back by the mans forthcoming. Of course he could never take a civilian on to the base. He searched for a diplomatic way to say no.
The Twilek walks up and deliver thier drinks walking of again without a glance. Seeing the confused expression on the young pilots the newcomer speaks up.
"Those are on me"
Caalder raises his glass in salute as he opens his mouth to answer the mans question just as an Imperial Officer steps in.

Caalder nods his head in agreement looking back to the man. Watching the man walk off Caalder thought nothing more of the strange request. The Commander would put him in touch with the right person it was good to see the mans interest.

This brought Caalders head snapping back. One eyebrow raised seeing the young Leutenants expression he continued.

To say Caalder was shocked was an understatement. He had no idea who this man was the evidence would suggest this was something unusual something special but he had no idea who the man was. Could he pass up this opportunity he longed to get off planet even a major commercial and civil center like Corustcant. Perhaps even a posting to a, Emporer will it, a Star Destroyer.
He would need to know more about the man before he could accept the mans offer. Caalder turned back to his freinds. Could he leave them? He honestly didn't know. He knew he didn't wan't to. Stalling for time Caalder answered, swallowing.
"I would have to check with my Commander of course Sir"
The Officer nodded. Seeing the hesitation perhaps he saw potential in the boy.
"So, can I sit down"
It was if a synapse finnaly snapped in the 3 minds of the young officers galvenising them into action realising what they had done they immediately jumped up and Saluted and hurridly brought up a chair. "Of course Sir, what would you like to drink"
Even though they were all off duty Imperial traingin was thorough.

Returing the long coming salutes, and telling the waitress "Corellian Ale, and the good stuff, all around. This is a celebration is it not?" He said in reply to hte boys strartled look, at having to pay for vintage ale." And jsut put it on the bases tab." The waitress nodded, apperently used to this form of payment and walked off.
"Listen, im sure your commander would relase you, but Ill tell you this right now, It wont be easy, nor safe. But then again Im sure if you where worried about those youd never had joined the Navy eh?" He said with a grin, and put his arms on hte table.
"But will get back to buissnes in a minute." he said downing his first drink and raising his arm for another. But as he raised his hand his sleeve on the left arm, slid down partilliary. The Col. absentely covered it up and ordered his drink. But not quickly enough for Caalders top notice a part of a purple desgin on the forarm.
"So he said, tell me about the battle today?"
Varan and Thew leave the room, Varan shaking his head on the way out.

Those Rebels.....they're so serious all the time. You're not thinking about getting involved with them, are you?

We'll see what happens. After all, you're involved with them right now, aren't you? I mean, you have my ship docked in their base so you have to have some kind of contact.
Varan
Thew, I'm a bounty hunter. I have all sorts of contacts in every part of the galaxy and with just about every faction. Just because I have a contact with the rebels doesn't mean I have any respect for them, much less any thought of joining them.
Thew: Yeah, I guess your right. Joining the Rebels wouldn't be a wise decision. They'll probably be crushed by the Empire in a few years anyway, though it really doesn't matter for people like us what happens. It's probably better with the war going on anyway, there are a lot more employment oppurtunities. I just figured I'd offer them a discount in the future. I mean one good turn deserves another.

Thew, you have to be the most generous bounty hunter I've ever met.....Myself, I figure you should just milk them for what they have and leave them. Survival of the fittest. One of these days I'll meet someone better then me who will take me out, but that day has yet to come. Till then, I'm just going to do whatever serves me best.
Thew: Well the way I see it the more generous I am, the less chance I'll meet that someone whos better.

Grrr Sckitz this was gonna be a short reply. Thinking i should play a game of XWA and use that as the report but ill have to tone it down a bit, not too realistic to go vaping a squadron of ywings on ya first battle :)
ic: A flash of colour caught Caalder's eyes. On the Officers arm was a purple tattoo. The man smoothly covered it up as he looked to order another drink.
It was a kind of tridrent incorporated into a twisting complex design. It was intriguing and somehow beguiling.
"So, tell me about the battle today?"
Caalder looked up as his thoughts were interrupted.
"Ahh the battle Well Sir we were called in a S.O.S from a convoy, came under attack from Rebel Starfighters, heh" He laughed somewhat derisevly. "As it turns out the convoy was only carrying Foodstuffs guess the Rebs thought something important was onboard. Whatever they thought they went to a lot of risk to board those ships. Nothing better than pirates if you ask me Sir."
Caalder stopped his emotion getting the better of him as he held on to the table with white knuckle preassure. He couldn't understand thier missguided ideals their misplaced beliefs Thier treachery thier methods their hypocracy. Someone had to protect the innocent.
"It was a pigshoot at first sir the rebs easily outnumbered the escorts and there was nothing but broken wreakage and frozen bodies of the escort and ywings had quickly disabled the convoy. I'm not sure why sir but as the general alert was called we were told to get out fighters up to a Carrier who hyped out at the last second.
We got there as the rebs were about half done an ISD and its fighters went after the fighter cover while we got the ywings. I honestly don't know what they are doing flying those things sir. Sure they can take a beating but alls that means is we have to stick on their tails a few seconds longer."
Caalder smiled not really in the mood for laughing at the moment. "
Got one ywing as he was coming round and another got on my six. I did a split S and came back around there was no way she could match my turn and I simply burned a few shots up his pipe till the sheilds fell then dropped a pair right through the ****pit."
"Ahh don't be so modest it was a perfect deflection shot you didn't even come close to missing." The modest Caalder tried to ignore his freind. "I was his tail and I felt like a third wheel"
His Freinds beamed oblivious to the torment and the importance of this moment.

The Col. sat there, listeing to the report. Silently going over what he read in the report and what this pup was telling him. No point in having braggarts in his squadron. But this one, he was rahter modest, even when his freinds tried to brago for him. This broght a small smile which was hidden behind his tumbler as he took a drink.

"ounds aobut right. Hmm a split S, interasting move, most pilots would just decelarate, and then recive and torp up there engine port. No that was a good manuver, of course they where just wishbones, but yet first combat mission 2 no 3 confirmed kills?
but now down to business, take time to consider my offer, the squadron leaves within the week, I thik youll find them to be to your liking." He said with a grin, as he watched the trainess frineds canjole him into taking the post. "If you want more time to think about it, heres a flimbsy that you can reach me on, has my personal comlink code."
OOC: Kylco, I don't think it's that hard to follow.....read the whole thing........
Jaym finishes off his drink, pays for it and the others he bought for the imperial pilots, walks over to the colonel who gave him the flimbsy and thanks him. He then walks to collect his weapons and exits the bar, a few stares and whispers the only thing following him
OOC: I'm going to wait a few days and have him come back after getting in contact with the recruiter and setting up a time for interveiw.
OOC O barty thats you? Yeah set somehting up, ill see where I canpull you later on.
"Thank you sir ill be sure to do that" Caalder graciously accepted the flimsy.
As soon as the officer was out of hearing range they broke out in excited discussion over the strange offer. It seemed clear he was from an elite group. As far as Caalders freinds were concerned he should accept. They wouldn't stand in his way of an opportunity like this one.
"So what are you going to do?"
"Exacttly what I said i'd do, talk to the commander see what I can find out."
Both freinds nodded at this the gravity of the situation realised but they would support him.
Shadey did you want me to play the part of your commander, or did you just want to do that?
OOC: I'm gonna be away from tomorrow night till next Thursday so I'm gonna have my character go on a little trip.

*Thew strides back into the bar, and deposits several more weapons than the last time. Walks through the scanner and when nothing happens a small smile comes across his face*
*Sits down by Varan*
Thew: There you go Varan. (Plops down 6,000 credits) I'll be back in a few days. I'll probably stop here when I do. Until then, goodbye.
Varan: See ya.
*Walks over to Kylco*
Thew: We'll discuss that employment I was talking about when I get back in a few days. Until then try to keep yourself cleaned up. (Puts some more credits on the table) But, if you use any of that for sabacc you can kiss your job good bye.
Varan sits looking at the 6000 credits. He laughs to himself.

The waitress looks at Varan surprised.

Im jumping the thread ahead 6 months in order to help out a friend. Sorry if it messes anyhitng up, but seems to be rather quite.
6 months have now passed.
Col. Wraith von Izzen is sitting at his normal table with a few others form his squadron.
A vaguely familliar man enters the bar, his green eyes and black hair the only recognizeable thing about him. He hands over different weapons than he had last time, he now carries an imperial looking blaster and a comlink with the imperial crest upon it. He keeps the comlink and walks through the scanner, no alarm sounds.
He walks directly to the table where a one Colonel Wraith Von Izzen sits and adresses him.

He hands the colonel a datapad and watches as he reads it with an interested look in his eyes

Occ. Barty I gotta teach you some things aobut the military =P first offf you wouldnt have all your old guns, jsut the one the Imperails give you. Second all you wouldnt talk to your recuriter after you left for training, so you may want to change the posts, to suit it. Like my Commander told me to report to you.

Izzen, some what put off by the new arrival looked down at the sheet, looked at the man then through the flimbsy into a nearby ashtry where it crumbled.
"I dont know what fool of a commader told you to talk to me off duty" he said. "Come with me"
He stand, returns the mans saulte and motions to the out side area. He romves a wand and waves it around, removes a a small device and crushes it under his heel.
"Allright, dont say anyhitng about who you are,I already know. Use your cover, waht ever it is. Now wher going in side for a drink becuase we have to wait for one other before we leave this planet."
Jaym nods and follows the Colonel back inside once again and back to a four person booth in the corner of the cantina and they sit down opposite each other. The barmaid comes over and they both order a Corellian whiskey.

How are things going with the local rebels sir?
Theve been a bit of a nusance, but I just recentl got a new pilot, seems to be working out well, attrition still getting us, but the rebels have been htinking twice about atatcking this sector since the last fight. 2 squadrons of rebels ships lost, varying types and only 1 casaultie for my squadron. But he lived surprsiing enough.
Very Impressive. Only one casualtie. You must be a very inspirational leader, sir. I hope I will be able to work under you.
ooc: 6 months! grr your a pain. Ok Assume my guy knows you and has been with you for a while now.

A young officer walked in and made his way straight to the table occupied by the other two Imperials.
Sitting down he removed a pair of black leather gloves and nodded towards his commanding officer.
"Sir" he greeted the man and then looked to the mans companion. "And this must be Dentuhn? Oh thats right the young man who asked me to sign him up. Welcome aboard. You must be something for Izzen to pick you up straight out of basic."
Caalder although younger than the new man six months of action in highly unusual missions had aged him at least pychologically. He had a new confidence but was still in many ways the modest and shy brand new Leiutenant.

"But for now, we celbrate getting off this rocl, though I will miss her, born not more that 30 km form here." he says sipping his tumpler of whiskey."
"As far as for serviong for me, you wont. Im just your leasion officer, your to be placed aboard a defferent area, but well all work side by side so no worry." "Any questions?"
Varan has been leaning back in his chair, his feet resting on top of the table. the table is topped with many upside down glasses. Varan yells over to the imperials.

He looks at the colonel to see what his response will be to the possible jeer.
Turing to glare at the rude customer, the Col. replys.
"Well usually there recived from the PX, but mine was especially tailored. Though I suppose that isnt what you wanted to know, If you are that conserned, you should just speak with the local recruiter."

Jaym's ways had changed some in the six months he had spent in training, but he still had the spirit of a bounty hunter. His prey, now and forever, Rebel scum...
Caalder stiffened visibly. He watched the man with narrowed eyes not sure wether to take the comment as an insult.
"Imperial uniforms are manufactured on a number of worlds. They are issued upon joining the armed forces of the Empire." Caalder finished staring at the man before he dismissed the incident picking up his glass an tipping it in thanks to the man before he looked down to his datapad. A raised eyebrow was quickly covered.

The coloned nods his head to the two sitting at his table, indicating it was ok for them to take the drink. "Once again I thank you, but the fact that we must go on duty soon, prevent the fact that we can accept all of the drinks. Since this is such a problem, by your custom. Letting me use a custom of my own, and let me pay for your drinks, before we leave."
"Waitres, puts this mans drinks, the ones at his table now, on my tab, then bill the Base."
IC: Thew walks back into the bar, looking like a much happier man. After depositing his weapons he heads for Varan.
Thew: Varan, now don't tell me you've been sitting here fore six months drinking ale.
OOC: Any chance of a nice brawl getting started?
