Part III of Tierra de los Muertos is now online. The plot continues to develop, and it's making good progress. :)

The poll this week is concerned with the pictures I'm posting with the parts. What do you think of them, and are they worth continuing?

Oh, and please comment on part III, of course. I'm interested in all feedback. :D

It does end suddenly, yes. The next part is the meeting with the Great Sage.

I just read through the script, thinking that harsh editing may have been why this part is a little short. A couple of lines were cut out of it, but nothing overly though. Oh well. Part IV comes this weekend. Which means I need to go to the radio station today and get more sound effects. :D

I will listen in tonight.
However I already voted
and gave you top marks.
after one listen I Knew
you had hit the nail in the coffin.

(and I am sure you are
not going to pull an Anne Rice
on us.)

anyway I have posts to read
posts to post
and enter keys to strike
to poetically contrive
rhyme, meter and madness
to my methods.

Tierra de los Muertos is Incredible!
I will become one with the

Wow. That's one hell of a vote of confidence!

Just out of curiosity though, what does it mean to pull an Anne Rice?

Whatever it is, it's gotta be better than pulling a Lizzy Borden.

an Anne Rice,
personnally I read a book
Interview with a Vampire
a long time ago
and it was great
and new and wonderful
she even had her vampires
sort of looking down at the goth set
pretending to be vampires
as a blessing and a curse
(however they did offer some
camelflauge)

any how *my opinion*

after many books
all dealing with vampires
and getting sillier each time
I stopped reading her.

you only plan 11 instalments
so you can not go too far
off course that's
what I meant.

I have now listened very funny
hope on cd you will fix
too abrupt ending of miguel.
(small and only critism
on my part so far)

amyways all Anne Rice fans
will disagree with me but that
is what it means to pull
an Anne Rice.

Lizzy Borden, with an ax
Hit her father forty whacks
When she saw what she had done
She hit her mother forty-one

Back to the topic on hand...

Another job well done. Tierra de los Muertos Part III wasn't quite up to the standards of the second and first parts, but well done nonetheless.

Okay, Darthy. You have me a little worried now. I'm going to have to explain something, and reveal some of my plans to anyone who wants to read.

Tierra de los Muertos is, as you'd probably guess, one complete story in ten parts. It's a journey from the beginning to the end.

And I did plan to do a sequal to it sometime next year. Although the sequal would have nothing to do with the gates of the afterlife. A completely new story.

And sometime after that... another one, dealing with the regulation and capture of ghosts still in the living land. The lost spirits.

What I was hoping to do eventually is to have something along the lines of Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld'. While the second story would have the characters from the first, the third story would have one, two at the most.

Hmmm... that reads really awkwardly without the titles. This is all planning, mind you. But...

1. Tierra de los Muertos
2. La Busqueda de Big Kahuna
3. Muertos de Negro

If the fates allow.

Thoughts? Do you think a sequal or two would ruin them entirely? Wait 'til time tells?
