Where I can find a full-size colour picture of all the Grim Fandango characters?
You know, the one thats in the background while you install?
I know theres one on the character section of this site but its to small...
Also the one on the instuction book is black and white and covered by writing.
If you mean a larger, more detailed scan...no.
If you want the one that's on the CD you can find it in .bmp format. It's one of about 7 .bmp files somewhere on the CD, so a little browsing will uncover it.
I've had that picture as my desktop wallpaper before. It's crappy in quality, which is a pity because it's a really cool picture.
I think I found one on Grim Fandango Central...Not sure...Try there...I found a cute picture of Lupe someone did as fan art...She was in an anime-style pose, giving the traditional "V for Victory".
What's with the Japanese and that "V"? Just about every photo of my Japanese friends has them making that victory sign. What's the origin? What's the appeal? What's the point?
"V for Victory" originated in animй as an overexaggeration of happiness and/or coolness. As every good fan knows, animй is all about overexaggeration. Just as in the Sweatdrops as an overexaggeration for "Oh, my god...I can't believe it" and the eyes as opposed to traditional Japanese characteristics and the hair to emphasize the personality and so on and so forth...
I know...I know waaaaay too much for my own good...
You forgot about facefaults. Usually accompanied by a Sweatdrop.
Wow, I can't believe I forgot the facefaults... Well, it's kinda hard to remember anything when your annoying little cousin is constantly questioning you about Grim. Honestly, what is to be said to:
"What's a reaper?"
Once you've explained to your younger cousin what a reaper is, tell them you've asked one to come and stand outside their bedroom window, while they sleep. As you can plainly see, I hate kids.
Obviously... But, then again, so do I. BTW, he's already scared that I'M coming after him because I told him that I'm THE grim reaper... It's quite funny.
Just remember not to try opening him up with a scythe. That would make a mess of a perfectly good scythe.
Are you sure? The details are kind of graphic.
Nevermind, then. Save your breath.
